MMIMB: Anthony Primozic - Part 2
In March 2026, four years after Anthony Primozic died in Haines Junction, Yukon, Seth Boss finally stood trial in Yukon Supreme Court on a charge of second-degree murder. Nobody disputed that he caused Anthony's death. The three-week trial came down to one question: could the Crown prove what he actually intended that night, or did his intoxication raise enough doubt to reduce the charge to manslaughter. In part two of this two-part series, we take you through the evidence, the defence Seth Boss's lawyers built, and the verdict Chief Justice Suzanne Duncan handed down, one that left Anthony's family and the community of Haines Junction reeling. We also follow the family in the months since, as they've turned their grief into a fight for changes to the Yukon justice system.
