Ayudando a Venezuela

This podcast episode focused on relief efforts for Venezuela following two major earthquakes, with hosts Rev Aysleth Stutts and Christy Lopez welcoming guests Marilyn Morales, Alejandra Reyes, and Hemp Princess- Addy Vazquez to discuss how to help the affected population. Marilyn, a registered nurse and Guinness World Record holder, shared her experience helping during 9/11 and emphasized the importance of prayer, funds, and supporting trusted organizations on the ground. Alejandra, a Mexican community leader, described the difficult situation facing first-generation Venezuelan immigrants and highlighted the need to separate political issues from humanitarian aid efforts. Hemp Princess explained the benefits of industrial hemp for construction and reconstruction, describing how hemp materials can provide better insulation, fire resistance, and carbon sequestration while being more sustainable than traditional building methods.
