The Trial of Beau Lamarre-Condon - Accident or Execution?
Former NSW police officer Beau Lamarre-Condon is accused of fatally shooting television presenter Jesse Baird and his partner, Luke Davies, at Baird’s Sydney home. Beau Lamarre-Condon and Jesse Baird had previously been involved in a relationship. Prosecutors allege that after it ended, the former police officer developed an obsessive fixation with the presenter. They claim that fixation culminated in Beau Lamarre-Condon entering Jesse Baird’s home disguised as an Uber Eats rider, shooting him and his new partner with a police-issued pistol. Beau Lamarre-Condon has pleaded not guilty to two counts of murder and one count of aggravated break and enter. His defence claims the men died during separate struggles involving the gun.
