Not since the days of presuming that the director of “The Harder They Come” was white have we had egg on our faces like this but I think it’s an honest mistake. It’s been HAMMER HORROR HUMPDAYS every Wednesday all October long and our last selection, HORROR EXPRESS from 1972 starring Christopher Lee & Peter Cushing, looked like a Hammer film if there ever was one. Turns out it isn’t but without the influence of Hammer Horror surely this movie wouldn’t exist. It’s a wild ride as a being has risen in the form of ancient remains and it is loose on a train going through Russia. What is this thing and why do its victims have blank eyes and smooth brains? The picture is in the eyes. Literally. The full film is on YouTube so feel free to hit the link below and get back to us for some campy creature conversation.
