Nick Farabaugh predicts a Steelers LOSS to the Saints

Nick says the protests are a big story in Paris but they're not close to the game. Nick thinks the Steelers are going to ease DeShon Elliott into the game and play close to 50%. This is a Jaylen Warren-type game and Nick only expects Rico Dowdle to play 20% of the snaps.

Will the Steelers travel plans effect how they play Sunday?

The team that shows up early to international games is 11-9. Sean McVay is 3-0 in games in Europe. Bill Belichick would show up to games on Friday. Poni does not think travel will matter in this game. The Rooneys wanted to get to Ireland earlier but didn't have the facilities like Paris.

    HOUR 4 - Steelers-Raiders trade projection, Matt Clement, 2 Truth's & A Lie

ESPN is projecting a trade between the Steelers and Raiders including Isaiah Pola-Mao. He is the nephew of Steelers legend, Troy Polamalu. Does this make any sense other than that fact? Pola-Mao also has a familiarity factor with Patrick Graham from their time in Vegas together. 93.7 The Fan MLB analyst Matt Clement joined the show. The World Series begins tomorrow night in a battle of teams that do not spend a whole lot of money. The Rays took a piece of Pirates trash and found treasure (again) with Ryan Vilade, who spent all of last season in Indianapolis, but is playing a utility role for Tampa Bay as the Fall Classic gets underway. How are the Brewers beating the system with a mix of old school tactics and an analytical approach? Matt doesn’t expect to see Seth Hernandez in the Major Leagues next season, but Murf Gray should find his way into the Pirates lineup. Matt’s contract offer for Brandon Lowe would be 3 years for $70M. Matt predicted the Rays to win the World Series in 5 or 6 games. 2 Truth’s & A Lie.

HOUR 3 - 'Average' Aaron, Steve Palazzolo, Debrief

Is Aaron Rodgers playing to an ‘average’ level? What about slightly above? It doesn’t seem like the NFL writers want to give him much credit for the Steelers’ 4-2 start. Is Tyler Shough a similar level QB right now? The guys think Shough provides a bit of a challenge to the Steelers because he’s not afraid to wing it a bit, which also leads to some turnovers. We joked about Shough being in college for about a decade – he’s actually the same age as Patrick Queen. Why is Kirk Cousins getting so much more love than Rodgers? Would you take Shough as the Steelers QB for the next 4 years? Steve Palazzolo from the 33rd Team joined the show. Steve thinks Brian Thomas Jr. could turn into a trade chip for the Jags despite the team doing well overall. Steve doesn’t believe the trade price on Thomas would be a ton. Steve thinks the Quenton Nelson idea is very attractive, but it’s a rental player. Steve said an elite guard would make a bigger impact than you would expect and the Steelers could probably afford to overpay once the player hits the market. Steve expected Aaron Rodgers to look as bad as he did in the first 3 quarters of the game last Sunday, but had to eat his words a little bit for late in the game. Steve couldn’t believe the Steelers end-of-game clock management. Steve said the Steelers should have forced Jalon Daniels to go down the field and score a touchdown. When it comes to the potential 1st round QBs in 2027, Steve said there are warts on every prospect. Donny Football Debrief – The Bears have scheduled a cool tribute to Mike Ditka for tonight’s game against the Patriots.

HOUR 2 - Steelers 'easy' schedule, Bob Pompeani, Power Rankings

Colin Cowherd thinks the Steelers are only 4-2 because the schedule makers made it that way. Is he right? Do the schedule makers purposefully make it easier for certain teams? 2 of the final unbeaten teams have played very weak schedules to this point, but all we hear is how they are bound for the Super Bowl. Is this a case of a host suggesting the Steelers would be bad and since they aren’t, he is looking for every reason to say they aren’t good? ESPN is still projecting the Steelers to finish 9-8. KDKA TV’s Bob Pompeani joined the show. Pomp was saddened to find out the ‘French’ martini originated in New York City, so the land of the Steelers game on Sunday can’t claim it. Bob gave more of a reaction to the Steelers win in Tampa and why the clock management was very questionable at the end of the game. We lost Bob for a few moments because he called from the sauna and his phone overheated. Once he called back in, he told us about moments in the sauna that he has spent with Jim Leyland and Kurt Angle, among others. Bob didn’t expect Angle to be good on the mic in pro wrestling after his failed work as a local sports anchor. What are some of the things Bob is looking for in Sunday’s game? Power Rankings – Best ‘French’ things.

HOUR 1 - Ben Kindel health update, Latest in France, Ray Fittipaldo

Kyle Dubas spoke to the media following the health scare suffered by Ben Kindel as the team was departing from Utah over the weekend. It sounds like Kindel avoided big-time danger after he fainted on the team plane. Dubas stated that Kindel could return to practice sooner rather than later. Did the Penguins sidestep disaster here? How dangerous are things in France? We have heard people strike fear into the situation for weeks, but many people with boots on the ground say things are fine. The Steelers have canceled their fan event set for Saturday afternoon. Steelers reporter Ray Fittipaldo from the PG joined the show. Ray compared Paris to New York City due to the large police presence. He isn’t sure if that’s because of the NFL involvement, but it’s all pretty quiet otherwise. Ray pointed out that the Steelers also left late for their game in Dublin last season, but recalled the 2013 squad complaining about the late departure impacting their performance. Ray thinks Robert Spears-Jennings will have his snap count go down to a degree, but we should expect to see plenty of him on the field. Ray believes the return of DeShon Elliott is good news for Jaquan Brisker, who hasn’t been great in his first season with his hometown team. Ray wants to see the Steelers sending Jalen Ramsey more and more in creative blitzing packages. Ray thinks a Brian Thomas Jr. trade makes more sense if you have a clue who your QB will be in a few years. Ray explained how the Steelers practice schedule will differ as they get to France for the game on Sunday. Ray thought the Steelers end-of-game clock management was ‘coaching malpractice’ and they were fortunate to come out of there with a win.
