Killer Mom Trial: Final Witness Testifies Lindsay Clancy Knew Right From Wrong, As Attorneys Prep For Closing Arguments

Testimony has wrapped in the case against Massachusetts mom, Lindsay Clancy, and closing arguments are set for Thursday. The final witness was one of three rebuttal witnesses called by the prosecution, all of whom testified that Clancy was not suffering from postpartum psychosis at the time she strangled her three young children to death. The defense spent hours attempting to discredit the senior forensic psychologist for the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit, who told jurors Clancy was in control and aware of the illegality of her actions. Judge Rejects Ghislaine Maxwell’s “Rambling” “Meritless” Attempt To Overturn Her Sex Trafficking Convictions

Judge Paul A. Engelmayer gave Ghislaine Maxwell a verbal spanking while ruling against her bid to overturn her sex trafficking convictions for her role in the Jeffrey Epstein saga. Judge Engelmayer wrote a 67 page ruling where he calls Maxwell’s claims meritless and frivolous and said the Epstein file release not only didn’t exonerate her, it further incriminated her and reinforced the verdict against her. He also made it very clear, Maxwell is out of legal options, writing that no further appeals would be considered. We have reaction from Epstein survivors and what Congress has tried to do to prevent her only get-out-of-jail card left: a Presidential pardon. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Montana Man Kills 8 Family Members At Sunday Supper, As 12-Year-Old Niece Calls 9-1-1

This is a disturbing trend that is happening weekly, if not daily: a man kills his entire family and then himself. 44-year-old Alan Smith was reportedly kicked out of his Billings, Montana home, but came back with a gun during dinner and murdered his sister, her four children, his parents and his 90-year-old grandmother in a wheelchair. He then set the home on fire and took his own life as police were approaching. In the middle of his rampage, his 12-year-old niece was able to call 9-1-1, where dispatchers heard gunfire in the background. Unfortunately, it was too late by the time police arrived, and unfortunately this summer has proven to be among the deadliest in family mass shootings. Killer Mom Trial: Final Day Of Testimony As Experts Battle “Moral Awareness” Vs Postpartum Psychosis

It was another contentious day in court that once again, ended abruptly after the state’s rebuttal witness began to testify to children’s inherent “strong will to survive’. The defense immediately objected and, after a sidebar, the judge told the witness to step down and called it a day for the jury. This, after defense attorney Kevin Reddington continued to aggressively cross examine the prosecution’s expert witnesses who have testified Clancy was “morally aware” her actions were against the law and that she was NOT in a state of psychosis. Dethroned Miss NC USA Sues Pageant Organizers, Claims N-Word Is “Popular Slang”

WOW. Not only did the dethroned Miss North Carolina NOT apologize for using the N-word, or any other offensive previous social media posts, she claimed her right to use the racist slurs because her great grandfather identified as black AND because it’s popular slang used by Beyonce and other artists. In her new lawsuit, which is a hell of a read, Brittany Boltinhouse claims pageant officials “maliciously coordinated to publish a narrative portraying her as a racist, homophobe, transphobe, and intolerable bigot.” She takes zero responsibility for her past actions, and instead is asking for an unidentified sum of money for her “excruciating reputational destruction.” See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Killer Mom Trial: Fireworks In Courtroom As Judge Reprimands Prosecution For Bringing Up Religion AGAIN

The forensic psychologist who set off a firestorm in the courtroom on Monday will be back on the stand today. The judge ultimately ruled against a mistrial, but admonished the prosecution and instructed the jury to disregard Dr. Helibrun’s testimony about “mortal sin”. Testimony resumes today, first with Helibrun - and we can’t wait to hear how defense attorney Kevin Reddington handles any further questioning of him - and then with the state’s final rebuttal witness. We could see closing arguments as soon as Wednesday, and Lindsay Clancy’s fate should be in the hands of the jury by midweek. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

BREAKING: Killer Mom Trial: FUMING Judge Nearly Declares Mistrial!

The judge in the Lindsay Clancy triple murder trial was fuming after a prosecution rebuttal witness brought up Clancy’s Catholic faith and her understanding of mortal sin. Before the defense could even object, the judge called a recess, and when Clancy’s attorney “reluctantly” asked for a mistrial, the judge denied the request, but strongly advised the jury that the witness’ understanding of Catholic faith and teaching is immaterial and should be disregarded, calling it inappropriate. This is the second time the prosecution has brought up the idea of mortal sin, implying that Lindsay Clancy knew killing her children and attempting suicide was wrong because of her faith. Week five of the Lindsay Clancy trial begins today after an explosive day of cross examination with the prosecution’s first rebuttal witness, Dr. Avram Mack. Dr. Mack will be back on the stand this morning after maintaining Clancy had the capacity to understand right from wrong when she strangled her three young children. Clancy’s defense attorney went on to discredit Dr. Mack, questioning his knowledge of Lindsay, his experience treating pregnant and postpartum women and much of what he testified to moments earlier. We’re expecting several more rebuttal witnesses today, with closing arguments coming as soon as Tuesday or Wednesday. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
