Maggie Williams is the host of The Maggie Williams Podcast, the number one female-hosted hunting podcast in the United States. A former Miss Arkansas Teen USA, Maggie has since traded stage lights for a lifetime of watching the sun rise through the trees. Her passion for storytelling and the outdoors has made her one of the most recognizable voices in modern waterfowl culture. A devoted duck and turkey hunter, Maggie travels the country chasing adventure while sharing a message that encourages women to step confidently into God’s creation.

Rooted in her Christian faith and a deep respect for tradition, the fourth-generation duck hunter has dedicated her life to advocating for female involvement in hunting, conservation, and outdoor heritage.     Ep 61 - Diego's Dream Moose Hunt

    This week on The Maggie Williams Podcast, I’m sitting down with Diego Olaguibel to recap the hunt he has dreamed about for years: his once-in-a-lifetime moose hunt in Northern British Columbia. Diego was able to pick up the hunt for an unbelievable deal at a Dallas Safari Club auction during the DSC Summer Expo, and what started as a dream on paper turned into 11 incredible days in the mountains. We talk about what the experience was really like, the country, the challenges, the people, the moments he’ll never forget, and what it meant to finally live out a hunt he had pictured for so long. We also catch up on life lately because, somehow, fall has already become complete chaos in the best way. We just celebrated my 25th birthday, both of our dogs had puppies, we both have brand-new pups in our lives, and we’re trying to keep our heads on straight between puppy duty, traveling, and getting ready for hunting season.     This week on The Maggie Williams Podcast, I’m sitting down with my friend Macy Watkins Johnston for such a good conversation about faith, marriage, femininity, hunting, discipline, and finding your people in the outdoors. Macy is a Georgia native, lifelong outdoorswoman, and content creator now living in Alabama with her husband, Slade. She is in such a beautiful new season of life, embracing marriage, cooking, gardening, and the ministry that begins inside her home while still actively pursuing the outdoors and continuing to build an incredible career. We recorded this episode at Prairie Wildlife in West Point, Mississippi, a beautiful sporting property rooted in conservation, wildlife habitat, wingshooting, and Southern hospitality. We also talk about the Fox Hole Shootout and the legacy of Mr. Fox Haas.     Ep 58 - Diego Olaguibel of Yukkutz Hunting

    This week on The Maggie Williams Podcast, I finally have somebody sitting across from me who has been a part of a ridiculous number of my hunting stories over the last year — THIS IS DIEGO!!! Diego has hunted his entire life across North America and worldwide. He owns and operates Yukkutz Hunting in Mexico, has completed his World Slam of wild turkeys, and is currently working toward one of the coolest goals in waterfowl hunting: harvesting all 41 huntable North American waterfowl species. But this episode is about a whole lot more than checking species off a list. We talk about growing up hunting in Mexico, how his love for the outdoors eventually became his career, what it’s really like running a hunting operation and guiding hunters for a living, horses, turkey hunting, waterfowl, and some of the incredible places hunting has taken him across North America. And, of course, we get into our hunts together. Diego was there for some of the biggest moments of my turkey season, including my Ocellated hunt and ultimately watching me complete my World Slam with my Gould’s turkey in Mexico.     Ep 56 - Ocellated Turkeys & Mexican Duck Hunting with Sydney Cole

    In this episode of The Maggie Williams Podcast, I’m joined by one of my best friends and favorite adventure partners, Sydney Cole—and this one is full of laughs, wild stories, and a whole lot of firsts. We kick things off by talking about my newfound love for riding horses. Thanks to Sydney (our resident barrel racer), I’ve officially stepped into the cowgirl era. The real question is—will I be making my barrel racing debut this summer? Jury’s still out… but she’s working on me. Somewhere along the way, we realized we’ve got a pretty fair trade going: I’m turning Sydney into a turkey hunter… and she’s turning me into a cowgirl. From there, we dive into the NWTF Convention, which brought in a record-breaking 94,426 attendees this year—an incredible testament to how strong and passionate the hunting community really is. Several years later, Ronnie’s passion for chasing upland birds shifted to waterfowl after his first afternoon duck hunt outside of Mound City, MO. After 22 years as a country music on-air radio personality, Ronnie decided to parlay that experience into his passion for the outdoors with the creation of Heartland Waterfowl. Also known as “Papa Ron”, Ronnie hosts The Papa Ron Podcast and still plays radio at paparonradio.com. Logan Burditt: Logan is a fifth-generation waterfowl hunter with roots originating from northeast Missouri. He was extremely fortunate to have been raised with numerous highly qualified outdoorsmen front-and-center in his life. Safety and animal conservation were strongly taught and enforced, mostly by example. Logan shot his first pheasant at the early age of seven with a 410 shotgun. He quickly became a fan of all bird hunting and saw his love of the sport intensify while playing college baseball at Fort Hays, KS.
