Jan 26 - We are Engaged! A new book from Mr Parrott

Our very own Mr Craig Parrott is a published author! Today on the show we talk about his newest book, We are Engaged! Our Love Story with Jesus. He wants people to know that the reason he wrote the book is, "to encourage thirsty people who are disappointed with how life is turning out for them, who wonder what God has been doing in their life and who long to be close to Him. He is closer than we realize. I want to assure people of their secure relationship with Jesus, encourage them with how He is preparing them now, and eager for life with Him in the new earth." You can pick up a copy of the book from Amazon or wherever you get your books from! Our guests, Mr Kohlwey and Mr Vanderhyde, share all things Christmas in this last episode of season 5 on the Pod! You may think you know everything there is to know about Christmas, but I bet you learn a new fact or two about how Christmas ended up on the church calendar. Dec 1 - Student Q&A with Mr Shull and Mr Schlecht

Theology teachers Jonathan Schlecht and Josh Shull talk through student-submitted questions. We first had these two on for a Summer School with the Theology Department episode this summer, and we had so many student questions we didn't get to! In this episode, we chip away at a few more questions, including: - Why does it matter if we know God exists or not? - What about the people who never hear about Jesus? - How do I know God's plan for my life? Thanks to all the students who submitted the questions! If you have a question you'd love to have a LuHi theology teacher answer, please email the podcast at lhsparker.org.
