REALITY CHECK: BOYS II PLANET Finale (cowboys in heaven, groceries, Xinlong's speech + the hug to end all hugs)

BOYS II PLANET is officially over and we would just like to say.... ice on my teeth, ice on my teeth.... ….. Maddie, Elle and Ori all agree that this season of BOYS PLANET was one of their favorite survival shows ever (and they’ve seen a lot). The cross-cultural friendships formed by the contestants and the way they supported each other through to the end was so special to watch. THE HUG TO END ALL HUGS between xinlong and zihao post-finale will live on in our hearts FOREVER. (shout out to all the ppl on the internet making edits with taylor swift songs. bless) ….. The girls talk it all in today’s finale episode: Masato talking when it’s not his turn (classic), Li Zi Hao getting more screen time than most of the finalists (deserved), Junseo’s hot brother (u know), Xinlong’s acceptance speech (U KNOW), and every amazingly annoying Kangmin moment that MNet finally decided to air (we luv u). …… They also talk about the season in general and give out some well-earned KDROP SUPERLATIVES: Who was the reaction king this season? Who did the most with the least screen time? Who had the biggest glow-up? THE GIRLS TELL ALL. ….. (it’s also amazing how many times we mention lim jack in this episode. ur welcome i guess?) …. In true MNet style, this episode is longer than it needs to be - BUT THAT’S THE CHARM OF BOYSPLANET, right?? We hope you enjoy every bit of (non-rigged) fun on today’s episode of REALITY CHECK …. BOYS II PLANET FINALE: (06:14) The finale starts: signal song, exit interviews with the finalists, talking to eliminated B2P contestants in the audience, the star-master appreciation ceremony (16:27) THE NAME REVEAL (lol) (21:52) Brat Attitude performance team (30:30) Never Been 2 Heaven performance team (38:48) Chunbae treat making, self evaluations by past contestants, the letters (*sob*) (46:05) How To Fly performance (48:06) The night-before-the-finale staged pajama party …. ALD1 MEMBER REVEAL (55:29) It’s time to announce the members of ALPHA DRIVE ONE!! (58:09) Sanghyeon (1:03:15) Leo (1:05:35) Jia Hao (1:13:15) Geonwoo (1:14:16) Xinlong (1:18:39) Sangwon (1:23:01) Anxin (1:24:51) Junseo …. (1:28:40) Kangmin getting 9th (1:30:49) EVERYONE HUGGING EACH OTHER + other b-role footage from after the finale (1:33:56) How many votes each debuted member got (1:35:15) PLANET C: HOME RACE (we’re def covering!!!) ….. (1:37:06) OUR FIRST THOUGHTS on ALD1 + the group as a whole …… (1:45:08) THE KDROP “BOYS2PLANET” SUPERLATIVES: -The Jay Chang Award for “Best Reactions” -The ILAND Jay Award for “Most Embarrassing / Endearing Moment” -The Yundeok Award for “Best Display of Athleticism” -The Bangchan Award for “Best Nude Moment” -The Niki Award for “Biggest Glow-up” -The Cha Woonki Award for “Biggest Class Clown” -The Eunsang Award for “Most Extra Actor” -The Wang Zihao Award for “Doing the Most With the Least Screen Time” -The Daisuke Award for “Cutest Maknae” -The Eunkwang Award for “Best Hyung” -The Mattbin / Haobin Award for “Best Besties” -The Jiang Fan Award for “Most Devastating Early Elimination” -The Jongho Award for “Biggest Secret Weapon” -The Yuseop “Swagger Award” -The Junpyo Award for “Best Leader” -The Mayfly Love Poem Award for “Best Single Moment of the Show” -The JL “MVP Award” / The Hwanwoong “Ace of Ace Award” ….. (2:15:43) How do we think B2P ranks with the other survival shows we’ve seen? (2:21:58) How invested are we gonna be in ALPHA DRIVE ONE? (hint: very lol) (2:23:20) Our hopes and dreams for ALPHA DRIVE ONE (화이팅, boys!!!) ….. We’ll see y’all in December for PLANET C: HOME RACE!!!! ….. If you're new to THE KDROP, welcome!!
