In this episode of The Iron Table, we dive into what comparison and loneliness can look like in today’s world for single men and women, as well as married couples. Why do we often feel lonely? Why do we struggle to find genuine community? And how can comparison against the world and others quietly steal our joy, identity, and even distract us from the purpose God has called us to?
Together, we explore how these struggles can stop us in our tracks and how Scripture invites us to wrestle with God in seasons of loneliness, uncertainty, and seeking affirmation. We discuss where we tend to look for purpose, how we’ve personally learned to navigate these seasons, and some of the areas we still wrestle with ourselves.
I again have the privilege of being joined by my close friend, Cale Hastie, as we have an honest and vulnerable conversation around these topics and remind ourselves of who God has called us to be and where our identity is truly found.
We hope you enjoy this week's episode.
See you at The Iron Table.
