Talking with Ansel Crindland, surviving founder of The Temptations. He told me about growing up without a father in Westmoreland, Jamaica, starting as a solo singer and then forming his first group. Clinton Fearon
Reggae legend Clinton Fearon talks wit us about growing up near Kingston, Jamaica and getting his first inspiration to be a musician after hearing the Skatalites. He made his own guitar and by the age of 18 was performing with the Gladiators. At the end of a US tour he visited the Seattle area and decided to stay, where he live now. After putting out 14 solo albums between 1995 and today, he is still bringing crowds to their feet with his own brand of roots reggae. Juanito Pascual
Juanito Pascual was introduced to flamenco guitar while in high school on a trip to Spain. While studying classical guitar at New England Conservatory, he formed the Juanito Pascual Trio, but carried on his earlier passion for the music of the guitar greats of the 1960s.The idea of interpreting Jimi Hendrix's compositions in the flamenco style led to this latest project which he brought to a night at The Cut.
