ONE: INDEX FUNDS An index fund is a mutual fund or ETF which tracks the price of a collection of stocks. To simplify the definition, it is basically a giant basket of stocks that you can buy into for one low price, without having to buy individual stocks one by one, at their full price. In the last year, the S&P 500 was up 27%. The advantage of investing in an index fund is you get the diversification of 500 different companies while simply investing in ONE investment, which historically has outperformed 90% of actively managed funds. TWO: INDIVIDUAL STOCKS With individual stocks, the higher the reward - the higher the risk… which means you HAVE to be invested in CREDIBLE companies!!! In this video, we've included some companies we like due to their financials, current news, fundamentals, and prior performance history.
