We want to bring you behind the scenes of the (slightly) chaotic days that make up our life.

Are you married or in a long term relationship? Funny stories to tell? Email us on tendownpod@gmail.com - we can’t wait to hear from you.

Our last holiday with the kids??

Back from Portugal and absolutely banjaxed, Terrie and David sit on the couch doing a full post-holiday debrief: too much travel, too many jobs, a front door full of packages, and the strong realisation that the kids mightn’t see another holiday till they’re 16 or 17. They get into the chaos of “family holidays” — the constant complaining, naps getting ruined, apartments vs hotels, and why the heat nearly finished them. Plus: the Faro Airport queue from hell with private-jet VIP drama, Terrie’s Aldi “supermarket sweep”, a chaotic birthday dinner, and David’s mysteriously purple finger.

Stockholm Syndrome & a Midnight Torch Check

Terrie and David are back and it kicks off with David diagnosing himself with full-on “Stockholm syndrome” after a proper barnie in the car — plus a quick foot update nobody asked for. Then it takes a turn when Terrie tells the story of a random man trying to take a selfie with Sydney, the awkward aftermath… and the slow‑mo fall that had her losing sleep for days. They get into the reality of being a parent in 2026: lost kids at festivals, dads bringing daughters into toilets, and what’s actually appropriate. Also on the agenda: Dermot Kennedy at the Aviva (third attempt, nearly missed it), teething chaos, a new mattress/skip saga, and David absolutely losing it over the six‑week hose ban.

Curly Toenails, Phone Credit & Pure Exhaustion

Terrie and David are back, absolutely shattered after a 3-hours-there-4-hours-back family spin to Roe Valley — and David’s still raging that nobody offered to drive while he tried to “keep everyone alive” on the motorway. There’s car-charge stops, Myles turning into a demon the second he wakes up, and Sydney proving she’s Terrie's ride-or-die… while also being fully ready to call 999 because “the guard knows me.” They chat hormones, being type A vs type “can’t exist,” Love Island drama (justice for Charlene Murphy), and a listener dilemma about jealousy in friendships. Plus: curly toenails, foot-rot accusations, and the chaos that is Terrie’s “makeup room” dump.

    Back from the cruise

Terrie and David are back from the cruise and giving you a rundown on the absolute carnage — from the *massive* Legend of the Seas (20 floors, drones, YouTubers with security, and a buffet so good they barely left it) to why they’re already plotting a Caribbean one next year. They get weirdly deep about how a ship that weighs 248,000 tons can even float… and then swing straight back into reality: Myles is crawling, head-banging for reactions, and Jake is apparently “getting a bit senile”. Plus: the Ryanair seat scam rant, the motion-sensor toilet door disaster, and Rome in a heatwave nearly ending the marriage over a €5 bottle of water.

Davids trip to London and a special guest!

Terrie and David are recording on borrowed time Sydney’s watching a movie, Myles is finally napping, and they’ve just realised they nearly forgot to record… while also packing for their first ever cruise!

Sydney vs School Uniforms (And Who’s Boss)

Terry and David are back with a seriously chaotic catch-up — from recording ads that nearly ended the relationship, to Terry coming home from a hardcore Mayo weekend absolutely shattered (Irish pubs, shots appearing with a single hand gesture, and a wall that literally measures the tallest man who ever walked in). Back at home, it’s all sleep deprivation, hotel-bed obsessions, and the ongoing uniform wars as Sydney announces she’s not wearing a dress… ever. Plus: Jake the dog goes full kangaroo into the sheep, a “wholesome” Aldi picnic gets mobbed by crows and seagulls, and a listener baptism story that proves four-year-olds have zero embarrassment. And finally: the Monaco F1 drama — was Kim Kardashian rude, and is she *actually* dating Lewis Hamilton?

    Holiday recap and airplane drama

Terrie and David are back from Mallorca and running on fumes — craving silence, but somehow still arguing about underwear, laundry pick-ups, and David’s commitment to going commando. They recap the trip chaos: Ryanair seat drama with the kids, the “would you move?” plane debate, and why an adults-only flight might actually make sense. On holiday highlights (and lowlights): a first-night dinner disaster, Terrie buying a full-size inflatable dolphin, Sydney’s four-and-three-quarters impatience, and the beach day from hell — wind tunnel Miles, melon-man soundtrack, and digging up Paw Patrol rubble. Plus: the infamous pool incident… and a listener story that ends in accidental public humiliation on a silent bus.

Is health optimising ruining your life?

If your recovery routine needs its own recovery routine, this episode is for you. Terrie and David discuss the benefits, pitfalls, and occasional absurdities of chasing perfect health, exploring where healthy habits end and health obsession begins. Tune in for a thoughtful conversation with a few laughs along the way.

Ibiza Hens, Cannes Chaos & A Dress Disaster

We’re back after a sneaky two-week break (that we definitely didn’t announce), and Terry is blaming David for the classic “Saturday night laptop ambush” that nearly ends in the computer going out the window. Terry recaps her absolute whirlwind: Cassie’s wild Ibiza hen, last-minute Cannes chaos, a designer dress literally falling apart, and walking the red carpet for Sol de Janeiro while trying not to become that influencer on the stairs. David, meanwhile, accidentally bumps into Heidi Klum and has a full “Jerry Springer at the bar” moment. Plus: Portugal stag aftermath, green smoke in the house, a milky paddling pool, and the weekly war on washing.

Teething, Movie Premiers & Apple Watch Chaos

Shots were flying at David’s 40th BBQ (again) and Terry is taking absolutely zero responsibility… even though there was tequila, tequila rosé, Fireball and a suspicious amount of “just one more” energy. They debrief the Devil Wears Prada premiere that got cut short thanks to teething Miles, camera notifications, and anti-piracy security ready to pounce the second David looked at his phone. Plus: Apple Watch PTSD, parenting panic spirals, and the grim reality that the worry never actually leaves. Also on the agenda: Sydney the tiny legend (and part-time bully bouncer), Jake howling at the moon, Nacho the hamster’s dramatic legacy, and a listener dilemma about finishing a trade when your heart isn’t in it.

Happy 40th, Dave: Sunburn, Nobu & Tequila

David’s officially 40, and Terry is here to remind him (repeatedly) — with a birthday week that won’t quit, a BBQ for 35 people, and a very expensive catering quote that gets binned in favour of “the lads on the grill” and spicy margaritas on tap. They recap their adults-only Marbella trip: The Met hotel, beach shack prawn pil pil, Nobu, two-drinks-and-done drunkenness, and the infamous A4 photo that may or may not have got them rejected from the “club vibe” area. Plus: Terry turning German when she’s drunk, David’s new 40s do’s and don’ts, Crocs-gate, and a listener dilemma about being asked to be a bridesmaid after a 10-year fallout.

    Happy 40th: 1986 Facts, Margaritas & Getaways

A brand new intro nearly turns Terry into Dracula and David into Kevin McAllister, and honestly… it might be the most chaotic start we’ve had yet. It’s David’s 40th birthday week, so we get into turning 40, not being so hard on yourself, and a few very random 1986 “fun” facts (some of them absolutely not fun). Plus: first proper mummy-and-daddy trip since Myles was born, and the plan to get drunk for three days straight. Also on the menu: Coachella from afar, why Gen Z “don’t dance”, David getting heckled at a spa, Euphoria being “too much”, Cameron Diaz vs Sydney Sweeney, and a listener dilemma about a long-distance boyfriend acting shady.

Secret Savings Account... Has she found a secret run away fund?

It’s Easter recap time on 10 Down with Terry & David — and it starts with “Alien Man”, a BBQ that nearly caused a divorce, and David once again proving he refuses to read the instructions. They chat hosting 28 people, the estate Easter egg hunt that had kids tearing through back gardens for clues, and the surprise Easter Bunny that turned breakfast into pure madness (in the best way). And two listener dilemmas: secret savings accounts and a family secret that’s heavy to carry.

Manosphere Meltdown and Girl Power Talk

Coffee chat turns into full-on chaos this week on 10 Down with Terry and David — from David’s “lip liner” coffee habit and his very specific barista-level hot-filter routine, to the latest update on his not-a-hobby bird watching obsession. We get into the sparrowhawk drama at the front door (and the absolute abuse David got online for posting nature doing what nature does), plus the teenage lizard story that still haunts the family camcorder. Then it’s a heavier turn: Netflix watches, the rage-inducing “Manosphere” documentary, and how you protect young lads from toxic online nonsense. We finish with a listener email on solo parenting, “weaponised incompetence”, and Terry’s no-nonsense advice.
