Tales from the Dark Web

Forbidden Knowledge Network

Tales from the Dark Web is a first-person storytelling podcast featuring unsettling encounters, unexplained events, internet mysteries, paranormal experiences, strange coincidences, disappearances, stalkers, UFO sightings, cryptid encounters, haunted locations, wilderness horror, anonymous confessions, and disturbing discoveries.

Each episode presents a story that sounds real, could be real, or has enough believable detail to make listeners question where fact ends and fiction begins.

The show avoids recycled creepypasta, excessive gore, cheap shock value, and generic stories that have already been narrated hundreds of times.

The Thing Beside the Road Had Antlers and Human Hands

After a late shift, I drove my coworker home on a familiar rural road where deer were common after dark. We saw what looked like an injured buck near a drainage ditch, but its posture and front limbs made neither of us comfortable calling it a deer for long. Something scraped my truck as I passed. At the first gas station, we found a shallow crease in the rear quarter panel and long marks across the rear glass that neither of us believed had been there before. A Winged Creature Flew Over My Car and Blocked the Moon

After a late warehouse shift, a worker takes a familiar rural shortcut with barely enough fuel to get home. On County Eight, a dark shape crosses the moon above his windshield, then something strikes the roof hard enough to leave scratches and dry grass trapped near the glass. At a gas station, another driver describes a huge winged shape on the same stretch of road. A large bird seems like the sensible answer until, weeks later, a familiar silhouette appears near the upper railing of the town water tower. I Saw a Black Triangle Hovering Above My House

Late one summer night in my quiet subdivision, my Wi-Fi dropped and I noticed three bright lights outside my window. At first, I assumed they were aircraft on approach to a distant airport. Then the lights stopped over the rooftops, the stars between them vanished, and several neighbors stepped outside to watch the same silent triangular shape hover above our street. Phones captured almost nothing useful. Streetlights flickered. A parked car acted strangely. Afterward, flight tracking, hesitant reports, and neighborhood explanations led nowhere. Months later, a neighbor mentioned something almost everyone else missed while we were looking up. Poll: Do you think the narrator encountered something truly unexplained? Something Followed My Truck Through the Appalachian Mountains

A long-haul driver takes a sealed dry van load through a remote Appalachian mountain corridor after midnight and notices a dark shape moving along the passenger-side tree line. At first it looks like ordinary wildlife, maybe a bear on a slope or a deer caught in broken light. Then it starts matching the truck’s speed. When the figure disappears, hard impacts begin striking the trailer. By the time the driver reaches a lit fuel stop, there are scratches, wet mud, and hand-like prints where they should not be. Other drivers offer normal explanations, but one local man reacts differently when he hears the route. Poll: Do you think the narrator encountered something truly unexplained? His truck logged eleven extra miles during a seventeen-minute gap he cannot remember. The video from that interval is corrupted, but the audio survived in fragments. On it, his own voice answers questions from someone who may not be there, calmly insisting he is alone before asking if he will be allowed to go back. I Drove Through a Town That Does Not Exist

Save up to 70% through our official Proton VPN link: https://go.getproton.me/aff_c?offer_id=25&aff_id=19151 I followed a late-night detour after my GPS added a town called Morrow to my route for only a few seconds. The road sign matched it, the shortcut promised to save time, and I was low enough on fuel to trust both. By the time I realized Morrow was not on any map, the people there already knew my name, my childhood street, and the meals my mother made when I was sick. I brought proof home, but proof was not the same as safety. Poll: Do you think the narrator encountered something truly unexplained?
