System of Systems

Adam Lehrer, Matthew Denicola

All culture is propaganda. Everything you hold dear is connected to that which subjugates you. Deconstruct art, culture, and politics, and attempt to understand the pervasive conformism that has saturated it all.

UnSafety Propaganda (W/ Tarik Sadouma)
Artist, filmmaker and founder of the Amsterdam art collective The Unsafe House (and, yes, former member of KIRAC) Tarik Sadouma joins the crew on the occasion of the release of the Unsafe House's new film Scorched Earth. The film, which chronicles the inner conflicts of the Unsafe House in a manner that blends fact and fiction while documenting Tarik's attempts to take over the U.S. pavilion of the Venice Biennale with Curtis Yarvin (and other exploits,) is the most clear enunciation of The Unsafe House's aesthetic and values. The conversation veers from the film, to the lie that "wokeness is dead," to the importance of reading Yarvin and Michele Houellebecq as art, and not just as political critique. Asgardsrei (W/ Vlad Davidzon)
Adam's friend and Tablet Mag colleague, the European politics writer and Ukraine expert Vlad Davidzon, joins the show to discuss the state of the war between Russia and Ukraine. Vlad is a politics and war writer but also something of a bon vivant. He keeps notebooks of drawings and collages that are quite good. Vlad phoned in from the Unsafe House, the art collective (of sorts) of none other than painter and former Kirac member Tarik Sadouma. Tarik makes a brief appearance. PREVIEW Trash American Style (w/ Malcolm Tent)
Malcom Tent is an under appreciated legend of underground rock n' roll. From entering into the punk fold in South Florida in the 1980s with his hardcore band Broken Talent, to forming the sub-underground noise rock collective Bunny Brains, to playing in one of the most important lineups of American black metal group Profanatica, to collaborating with none other than GG ALLIN, to owning the iconic record shop Trash American Style, to acting as the proprietor of the label TPOS, Tent's distinctive stamp is all over the American sub-underground.
