
JB Hunt Drops, Intel Gains, Bloom Energy Rises After Investors Buy the Dip
On this episode of Stock Movers: -JB Hunt (JBHT) led trucking stocks lower after the company warned that higher costs for fuel and recruiting truckers will hurt its earnings. Earnings will be down 5% to 10% in the third quarter compared to the second quarter, with fuel costs at least $10 million higher. JB Hunt is seeing "incredibly strong demand" across its businesses, but is contending with high costs to contract other carriers to haul freight and recruit and train drivers. -Intel (INTC) shares gain. Reuters reported that SK Hynix is in talks with the chipmaker about a deal that would see it manufacture memory chips in the US for the first time. -Bloom Energy (BE) shares rise.
