    Let's make some waves

Welcome to Still Making Waves, a show where three Minnesota radio legends get together to interview people in and out of the entertainment industry, deliver takes on the latest news, and discuss what's on their minds. This is the first episode, functioning as a way to gauge timing and topic. Future episodes will be more focused, usually having a guest interview. On this episode, Tom Barnard, John Hines, and Jack Hicks reflect on how dramatically radio has changed, the decline of local programming and the transition toward podcasting, while comparing their very different experiences with success, competition and life behind the microphone. Along the way they revisit everything from KQRS and WLOL’s glory days and Tom’s rivalry with Howard Stern to memorable celebrity interviews, including Jane Fonda, Mario Andretti, Andy Rooney and Anthony Michael Hall.
