CPM General Secretary M.A. Baby called for open criticism during the expanded state committee meeting in Kozhikode, convened to address the setbacks following the election defeat. While openly acknowledging the party's lapses, Baby announced that necessary course corrections would be made from the perspective of the people. However, the fact that he did not mention the ED investigation during his hour-and-a-half-long inaugural speech became a topic of discussion See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
