    61. Conversa com Convidado Especial 👏

In this episode, I talk with my student Rory about his Portuguese learning journey. We speak about why he decided to learn Portuguese, his goals with the language, his favorite Portuguese food, and much more. This conversation is also a good reminder that learning a language can be difficult sometimes, but communication is still possible even when we are not perfect. You do not need to speak perfectly to have real conversations and connect with people. If you would like to improve your Portuguese with me, you can also book a lesson at slowportuguesewithmaria.com. I hope you enjoy this conversation!

    56. A Tool I’ve Been Using to Learn Vocabulary

In today’s episode, I’m doing something a little different. This is my first partnership, and I’m really excited to share it with you 😊 I’ll introduce a vocabulary learning app I’ve recently started using, and that has been helping me keep track of new words — especially now that I’m learning Swedish. The episode is divided into two parts: First, I explain everything in English. Then, I go through everything again in Portuguese, so you can follow along and learn useful vocabulary at the same time. If you’d like to try the app, you can visit: http://mivoca.app/maria You can also use the code MARIA to get $5 off the annual Plus plan. As always, muito obrigada for listening 💛
