Season 2: Advanced Questing with Special Guest Spencer Crittenden

Stop what you’re doing, we have Spencer Crittenden on the pod. Probably one of the most thoughtful people and just darn funny people I’ve met. We dive into Community, being Annie’s brother, and lots of other nuggets. That’s all I’ll say. It gets awesome. Enjoy!

Sam Phalen from Survivor! - Pop! Pop! Culture 101 (A New SSAAP Spin Off Series)

Hi, I'm Alex and this is...Pop Pop Culture 101 on Six Seasons and a Podcast. While Community isn't on TV anymore, I'm continuing what I think would be a deep dive into the Pop (Pop) Culture that would inspire new episodes of the show. I'm really excited to talk to Sam Phalen, Survivor 47 Runner Up, and we even get into Chicago White Sox baseball. I really recommend listening to this even if you're not a Reality TV or Sports fan. Sam is so interesting and thoughtful. Just an excellent conversation. Let me know what you think of the new series!

Season 2: Advanced Statistics with Special Guest Lauren Stamile

This week we have THE Professor Slater, Lauren Stamile. Which means I had to bring the big guns out of retirement. Jillian and Michael from Welcome to Greendale podcast joined me to talk about Season 1 and what was and what could have been if Jeff would have made the right decision! (TEAM SLATER!) And possibly there's a special appearance by my daughter who got the chance to ask Lauren about her acting coaching. Another awesome episode for you all! Hope you've been enjoying the new "Season".

Season 2: STEVE LEVY! with Special Guest Steve Levy

If you listened to Harmontown at any length you know the name Steve Levy. And maybe, like me, you've yelled it out at a live show. Once Dan Harmon's assistant, Steve has gone on to become an integral part of the Dan Harmon ecosystem as Vice President of Harmonious Claptrap (Dan Harmon's TV Production Company). Thoughtful, kind, and incredibly intelligent are just a few words I'd use to describe Steve. This was a great conversation about the innerworkings of Dan's mind....and maybe, just maybe there's some Community Movie Updates at the end!

Season 2: Advanced Social Media Management with Special Guest Tedi Fingerman

What if I told you I found the person behind the Social Media Accounts (Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok) for Sony and the Community TV accounts during the height of the pandemic and resurgence of Community online? Well her name is Tedi and she's whip smart, a super fan, and someone I call friend. Matt from Communiess online joined us and between the two of them if you thought or posted about Community between 2019 and now they've read and engaged with your posts. Enjoy this look back and fascinating insight on this amazing social media journey.

Season 2 - Advanced Countee-ing with Special Guest Adam Countee

Hey folks! We're back with the first episode of what I guess I'm calling Season 2 of Six Seasons and a Podcast. I reserve the right to change that at any time because it's all the same podcast, right? Who knows. All I know is that Adam Countee joined me and he was hilarious and thoughtful and everything I hope a pod guest would be. Enjoy the conversation and look for weekly episodes throughout June, July, and maybe August.

Episode 56: Neurodivergent Characters in Television with Eric Garcia

Hey Friends! Another great episode of the pod. This week I'm talking to author Eric Garcia (We're Not Broken) about Neurodiversity. We dive deep into Abed (and other ND coded characters) and talk about our experiences as ND folk. I really love this episode and hope you enjoy it as much as it was fun to make. Thanks to Matt from @Communiess for helping edit and master!

Episode 54: Talking Krap-opolis with Special Guest Andy Bobrow

Writer/Producer Andy Bobrow talks with me about the new animated sitcom Krapopolis and the now settled Writer's Strike. Andy is basically an honorary guest host of the show at this point. My friend Anthony joined us as well to pose some excellent Community questions, such as "Who farted?". Enjoy this fun conversation!

Episode 53: Introduction to Labor Unions with Special Guests Tim Saccardo & Dr. Jason Delaney

Folks, we're back with a special edition episode of Six Seasons and a Podcast. Community writer, Tim Saccardo, joined me to discuss the WGA writers' strike and why it's important for us to pay attention. In the second half of the episode, Dr. Jason Delaney, an economist, joined me to share his thoughts on the economic impact of the strike and how unions affect our daily lives. Hope you enjoy! #sixseasonsandamovie

Episode 52: Intro to Remedial Cinematic Pitches with Very Special Guest Dan Harmon

This is it, folks. The one we've been waiting for. Dan Harmon, creator of Community, joined me for a fantastic conversation about the Community Movie, selecting writers for the Community writer's room, creating characters, and more. And yes, I tried to pitch him on a few ideas I had for the movie...hence the episode title. (Thanks to Marcus Laird for the name suggestion without knowing what I did.) And thanks to Robbie Sherman for mixing and mastering today's episode!

Blood Ties starring Gillian Jacobs. Now Out on Wondery!

Our family members are not always who we think. When Eleonore Richland exposed her father’s dark legacy, she vowed to clean up the family business – and hired her half-brother, Santino Reyes, to help her do it. But old habits die hard. In the shocking new third season, Eleonore reckons with what her father always taught her growing up: medicine is a bloody business. From Wondery, the makers of “The Shrink Next Door” and “Dr. Death,” Blood Ties stars Gillian Jacobs (Community, Love), Christian Navarro (13 Reasons Why), and Peter Stormare. Six Seasons and a Movie, Two Andys, Four Weddings, and a Funeral

We're back for a special episode of Six Seasons and a Podcast! I'm joined by not one but TWO amazing Andys. Andy Bobrow was a writer on Community and shares with us some of his experiences on the show. Andy Stanton is the writer of the Mr Gum book series and tells a wonderful story about visiting the Community Set. Together they have created the first and only podcast about the iconic British TV show The Tumbler's Willy.
