Propeller Coffee has always done a lot of things at once. Even its headquarters — a 10,000 foot-space near downtown Toronto — has a roasting facility, cafe, event space, coffee lab, education space, and warehouse. But when the pandemic hit and its wholesale business dried up, Propeller Coffee Co. had to quickly innovate its direct-to-consumer approach.
