Mom guilt tells us we have to pick a lane: be fully present at home or fully committed to the dream. I’m fresh back from our Barbados Selfish Retreat, and I’m here to tell you what it actually looked like to host a week-long women’s retreat as a mom and come out the other side more grounded, more clear, and honestly more convinced that “having both” is possible. Barbados isn’t just a pretty backdrop. It’s the place that helped bring my life to life, and returning with a new identity, new responsibilities, and a whole lot of real-world logistics brought up so much truth.
