In 1965 the world’s largest uncut diamond is stolen from the Natural History Museum, the man arrested is David Knight, a 24 year old window cleaner who lived just yards away. 


Now Josie Long tells his extraordinary story. There was no evidence placing David at the scene, and the police officers who claimed he confessed were far from squeaky clean. 


But if he was innocent when he went into prison, he certainly wasn’t on his release. After he walks out of Wormwood Scrubs he embarks on an audacious life of crime, culminating in a famous heist that only a handful of people in the world knew he was responsible for…until now.
