"Give not thy strength unto women, nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings." (Proverbs 31:3)
You can have courage, gravitas, intellect, and strength, and still fail as a man if you hand it all over for a woman's approval. This week we define the simp biblically: a man who trades his judgment, strength, and duty for female approval, driven by fear of her displeasure.
From Adam to Samson to Ahab, Scripture is full of strong men undone by weakness toward a woman. We cover the line between a wife's counsel and a wife's dictation, how unchecked lust makes men pliable, the "shadow elders" quietly running complementarian churches, and why the moment calls for spiritual eunuchs: men whose strength is narrowed by self-mastery into a force that can't be worn down.
