On The Road Again (10/26/2018) - Dealing with the elderly

Direct Download/Listen Link In this episode I reflect on how I think you should deal with those that are getting on in their years and facing death. I think it's a topic I may have covered before, but as with others it bares repeating. This is aimed squarely at those who have to deal with the elderly as they transition into that part of their life and how hard it can be to watch as that happens. There's nothing more frustrating than trying to help someone and them refusing your help or going against what you want and you knowing where it will lead them. This hopefully will help you with those feelings and give you some insight on how to deal with them and why they happen. On the other hand you could say I'm full of it and you might be right there as well. Please rate, comment, share and let me know what you think! As always suggestions and criticisms are welcome OnTheRoadAgain@ptrradio.com or PTRRadio on any of the social media channels. Please help this segment and the show grow.

On the Road Again (6/15/2018) - A discussion regarding suicide

In this episode there aren't as many laughs as the subject matter is very serious and I wanted to make sure that it was taken as such. Next episode we will return to the normal nutty, but this topic was inspired by the passing of Anthony Bourdain who committed suicide only a week after famed designer Kate Spade did. We may joke around with the deathpool because it's our way of handling the passing of famous people, but it's different when it's not from a accident or natural causes. When it's something that can be prevented it puts everything into a whole new light and that is why I thought it important to cover here. In this clip I will give you not only my experience and opinion on the subject, but also hopefully some resources that could be helpful should you or someone you love ever be in need of them. Remember that you're not alone and there are people out there who care about you and want to help you, even strangers who care! Take this message and please forward it to others, I know we've said like, share and comment before, but especially on this topic we want to see it reach as many people as possible in the hopes that it can help at least one person who might be in need. On the Road Again (6/28/2018) - Death of the mall

In this episode Shaggy talks about a problem occurring all over the United States, the death of the Mall. Back in the 80s and 90s it was the place to hang out and what some would consider a second home, but now they look more like ghost towns than locations of commerce. So what are we to do with these massive structures and huge black eyes, usually on great land with lots of space? Shaggy gives you what one answer could be. Remember though, this is only one mans opinion so we want to know what you think? Rate, Share, Comment and suggest topics for future episodes?
