Long before Depop and Mercari made it easy to flip your Mom's old Levis, Janet built a wholesale and retail second-hand apparel business from the ground up. Her mission with this ecommerce venture, Denim Refinery, was successful in encouraging people to see vintage clothing as an equivalent to contemporary wear.

Denim Refinery has been covered in New York Times, Vogue, WhoWhatWear, Harper's Bazaar, Nylon, Refinery 29, Allure, and other major publications. Her looks have appeared on Riz Ahmed, Miguel, Wiz Khalifa, Tan France, and Sophia Bush.
