Drinking alcohol has been part of the culture since long ago, but when to drink, with whom to drink, and how to drink have always been changing. When was it first decided that minors couldn't drink? During the Japanese colonial era, how did people tell others not to drink? Drinking harms the body — but is it also a kind of skill? What stories lie behind the songs "Bottles for Sale" (酒矸通賣無) and "Don't Keep Goldfish at the Bottom of Your Cup" (杯底不可飼金魚)? This episode introduces the contradictions in Taiwanese drinking culture.
