We take up in the aftermath of a failed mission, with the coterie being chastised by their patron. We then work through downtime, the social season advancement, and draw our characters into Summer in Ilrein. Of course, I forgot to restart the recording after the second break, but below is a summary of the information and new errands presented.
* House went up two ticks, bringing Elandra in parallel with Al-Mari. They also disrupted Al Mari's plot against Lockwood. If they eventually surpass Al Mari, they can move to take one of their spheres of influence (The Arsenal, The Foreign Quarter).
* Two houses-- Bastien, Al-Mari-- began new plots involving either Supply or Transport.
* We moved into summer with The Decanting festival where Elandra won favor via their new wine
I mentioned three background events
* Some small riots near the Necropolitan Hill, nothing caught fire, but its a little early in the summer for such riots.
* People are getting irritated by the passing through of a gang of high-handed Werewolf Hunters who have been dealing with problems among the northern villages
* The weird prodigal son Caspari Verdi has returned to take over his late father's estate. He's kind of closed up their palazo and is holding private parties.
Gio presented the group with four errands-- to allow you to have a larger measure of choice in what you want to undertake. You might also opt to come up with an errand of your choice rather than one of these and/or undertake solving one of these problems as a long-term project.
* (Primary) Ignacio Elanda, current favorite to the head of the house, is participating in the gondola regatta. "We do not expect him to win, but it is important that he place in the top three" Racers have a team on three on their boats and there is often violence between competitors.
* The Graces have gifted the city a grand display of fireworks to honor the Lady. Our spectacle must be greater.
* One of the family's patron's, Aolus Boccanegro, is running for the position of Keeper of the Doweries. It is an honor and a position with important access. We would like him to win. (After some discussion from the PCs). "Let me rephrase that, we would like him to win and the other three candidates be alive at the end."
* The Signora of Roses has seemingly acquired a noble mask of undisclosed provenance which they will be auctioning off. We would like to win that auction. (After some discussion from the PCs). "Let me rephrase that, we would like the mask."
