The Ember Files is the permanent archive of the original Paranormal Salad timeline — the confessions, investigations, possessions, relationships, losses and supernatural events that shaped the first incarnation of Jax Ember. This is the home of The Ember Timeline, including Jax’s twenty-seven confessions and the events surrounding Karl, Clay, Vincente, Cole, Thorne, the Woman in the Closet, the Seventeenth Lock and the cases Paranormal Salad could never truly leave behind. These recordings chronicle a version of Jax whose life became increasingly entangled with forces he could not investigate from a safe distance. What began as paranormal investigation became confession. What became confession eventually became reckoning. Some files are investigations.
