By April, the family seemed to disappear. The children had stopped going to school and the mother hadn't been back to work. On April 21st, after many searches of the home, the bodies of the mother and her four kids as well as their 2 dogs were found buried in the garden backyard. The only one missing was the father, Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès. French police would discover that on the 11th, he had written that the family had to go into the witness protection program in the United States. However, he was seen on CCTV footage on the 15th at a hotel in Roquebrune-sur-Argens. He was alone when he looked directly into the camera and vanished. Few clues have been found and sightings were being debunked. Until this year in 2026, when investigators in Texas claimed that there might have been a sighting of Xavier, 15 years later. FOUND MURDERED IN SCHOOL CLOSET - True Crime Mystery Finally Solved

Thanks to our sponsors: Go to shopremi.com/MAKENNA and use code MAKENNA at checkout for 50% off with Remi Club Subscribe & Save. Back in 2015, 7 year old Beatriz Angelica Mota was living in Petrolina, Pernambuco, Brazil with her family. The children, including 7 year old Beatriz, were also attending the same Private Catholic school their father was teaching at. Beatriz Mota would be murdered in her own school, found dead in a school closet. With a lack of crime awareness and a need for justice reform, this case took nearly a decade to solve. On December 10th, the entire family was at the school that evening for a graduation ceremony from 7pm to 11pm. The eldest daughter Samira was graduating and the whole family went to support. Thousands of guests filtered into the gymnasium. Around 9:50pm, Beatriz asked to get a drink out of a nearby water fountain. This was her school after all and she knew where everything was. A school that was supposed to be a safe place. That's when she would disappear. By 11pm, a scream erupted echoing through the gym. Fellow parents searching for her had opened the storage closet door that was often unused. They would find Beatriz in the back corner of the burned out closet, lying in a pool of blood with a butcher knife on her chest. She was deceased. For the next 7 years, her murder went unsolved. Her mother Lucinha Mota became her own lead investigator. Finally, a man was caught and his trial is coming soon, over a decade later. It was April 20th 2012 and the Celis family were going to bed in Tucson, Arizona. When Sergio Celis woke up that Saturday morning about 8am, he went to wake up his daughter Isabel Celis for the day but Isabel was nowhere to be seen. Her mother Becky was already at work that morning and Sergio immediately called 911 to report her missing. He stated he believed she was abducted from the home. One of Isabel's brother noticed that her window was open and the screen as lying outside. She remained missing. Her father Sergio was under scrutiny for the strange behavior and lack of interviews. Many began to believe he had something to do with his daughter's disappearance. By June 3rd 2014, in the same area, 13 year old Maribel Gonzales went to a friends home however she never made it. Investigators immediately classified her as a runaway and not much was done to search for her. 3 days later, the family would hear on the news that a body had been found 35 miles from her home. This was in a desert area and they announced it had a little tattoo. As soon as they showed it, her mother fell to the floor screaming. That was her daughter. Her death was ruled as a homicide. But in 2017 investigators had received a huge tip. A woman called the FBI and claimed that her boyfriend likely killed the missing girl Isabel Celis. He had told her that he knew her location. A letter was sent to her from the Pima County Jail where he was being held for burglary charges at this time. That same month, FBI agents met with Christopher Clements to interview him. He would admit he knew where Isabel was buried. He led agents to a remote desert area near Avra Valley road and Trico. Skeletal remains were then found and DNA identified her as Isabel Celis. Her death was ruled a homicide. But in that same area was where murdered Maribel had been found years prior. They were 4,3 and 1 at this time. Throughout the night, Ramon would go on a killing spree, unstoppable until 7 people were dead. Husband Stalked, Attacked Then Pretended to RESCUE His Wife

It was 2am on the 1st of January 2021 when Cherokee Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call in Canton, Georgia. They had received a call from a man stating that someone had broken into the home of his ex-wife and he found her face down on her deck with a pillowcase over her head. She was bound with zip ties and the back door was wide open. When they arrived, Rodney Metzer was on the front porch, holding onto a bruised woman. Morgan Metzer was found to have been brutally attacked. A search of Rodney's phone showed an obsession with his ex. He was arrested at her residence after Morgan claimed that she had suspicions that he was her attacker. In his apartment, they found a book called "7 ways to be her hero." Investigators theorized that Rodney had created this scheme to attack his ex, make her a victim and then become her savior to win her back. No one had believed Morgan when she stated that their decade long marriage was full of abuse and gaslighting. They had finalized their divorce, the month prior. The DA stated, “This defendant planned a violent attack on his ex-wife that included breaking into her home, disguising himself, and pistol-whipping her. He left her outside on a cold winter night, face down, tied up with a pillowcase over her head. I cannot imagine how terrifying this must have been for her. This is a classic example of how the most dangerous time for a domestic violence victim is when she decides to leave an abusive relationship.” Follow your host, Brooke Makenna, on YouTube, IG & Tiktok @brookemakenna for crime content @brookeunscripted for personal content! Daughter Exposed “Serial Killer Father" She Was Forced to Help As Child?

Thanks to our sponsors: If you’re struggling with OCD or unrelenting intrusive thoughts, NOCD can help. Book a free 15 minute call to get started: https://learn.nocd.com/OVERKILLERS What if the monster everyone feared was your father? What if like Lucy Studey, no one believed you? Lucy began telling anyone she could that her father Donald Dean Studey was a serial killer. He would force his young children to help him dispose of the bodies in the well. She believed that he had killed anywhere from 50 to 70 women over 3 decades. Most of the women had dark or darkish hair, all were white and in their 20s to 30s. Donald would invite them into their home to watch over the kids. When her father died in 2013, Lucy would go to the media to tell her story, while her sister Susan claimed that Lucy was a liar. However, Lucy's stepsisters believed that Donald had killed their mother Charlotte Studey as well as his previous wife Lucy. Donald's sister Marilyn Kepler, who was arrested for attempted murder would write a book about her life, accusing Donald of killing many, including two that she watched. While the FBI got involved and excavations ensued at the property they grew up on, no bodies have been found. This is the true story and 2026 updates of the Paramount + docuseries, My Killer Father: The Green Hollow Murders. Is Lucy telling the truth?
