    Ep 148: The West Wing, S1 E21-22 & S2 E1-2

We're deep in the chaos of Rosslyn and we have THOUGHTS. In this episode of Only Show Fans, your favorite TV recap comedy podcast, we're breaking down The West Wing Season 1 Episodes 21 and 22 and Season 2 Episodes 1 and 2, aka the episodes that had the entire nation asking "who got shot?" Here's what we're getting into: Aaron Sorkin literally did not know who was going to get assassinated when he wrote it. We're not kidding. The man was making it up as he went and somehow it's one of the greatest cliffhangers in television history. A cast member actually got run over filming the Rosslyn scene. Yes, really. We have feelings about this. The eternal debate: Sam Seaborn vs Josh Lyman. Pick a side. We did. Allison Janney and Bradley Whitford are simply built different. We break down why every single scene they're in becomes instantly iconic regardless of who they're talking to. Whether you're a die hard West Wing fan doing a rewatch, discovering the show for the first time, or just here because you love a good TV recap with your favorite sisters-in-law, this episode is for you. Listen to Only Show Fans on Apple, Spotify, or anywhere else you get your podcasts. And don't forget to like, subscribe, and leave a review. It genuinely helps more than you know. 🎙️

The girls are more than halfway thru season 1 and Maggie is still all in on the best political procedural that ever was. Ep 145: The West Wing, S1 E9-12

Four more episodes! Or four more years? Episodes 9-12 really packed a punch (and almost got Josh Lyman punching people) in the first season of The West Wing. Amanda and Maggie talk about how they'd decorate The White House if they were in charge, whether or not they'd follow their boss's orders, and the difference between a real easter egg and a hypothetical easter egg. And Amanda's temporary foster dog has A LOT to say about this episode. He's only visiting for a week, so this is the first and last you'll hear of his hot takes...this dog needs it's on PupCast! Ep 144: The West Wing, S1 E5-8

Laced up and stompin' in their Air Force Ones, Amanda and Maggie are cruisin' at an altitude where they can take in the sights and sounds of the Bartlett Administration. They discuss problematic characters and problematic actors, who they would leave behind when given a nuclear "get out of jail free" card, and the best places for people to visit when it's their first time coming to America. And who knew that both the girls are GreaseHeads™? When they both found out, they got chills...and they were multiplying! Maggie takes the mic when they land at prediction town and serves up some beefy plot twists that would make even Leo McGary rearrange his already chaotic schedule. If you're a West Winger, jump back in and rewatch the only administration worth acknoledging right now. And if you're enjoying this podcast, don't forget to like, subscribe, and leave a review! It really feeds their egos, and the algorithm!

    Ep 143: The West Wing, S1 E1-4

As the girls jump back into a deep dive of one of the best tv shows ever made, they're hardly winging it. They've got hot thoughts! They've got depos! They've got quizzes! And a new, fancier way to get to prediction town. They talk about the ideal job for a president JUST before they become president, they talk about kids trolling parents on social media, and how they would spind a presidential biking accident for the public. The votes are in, and they are ALL IN on the only administration they are giving any attention to these days, the Bartlett Administration! Make sure to follow them on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. Ep 141: Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat

Court is in session for this next round of TV pranks when the girls review the newest Jury Duty: Company Retreat. It's so wild, it's so well done, and it's such a great watch/binge. They talk about when they would have discoverd it was a prank, when (or if) they'll ever cast a woman as the hero to be pranked, and what cast could they be thrown into and have zero idea who any of the key players are. It's a must watch from both of them. And just like the twist at the end of Jury Duty, Maggie and Amanda reveal a twist of their own at the very end. If you're loving this show, (and they hope you are!) please make sure to like, subscribe, and leave a review! It really helps them and everyone loves to be a helper!!

They talk extensively about accents and also talk extensively in accents. They discuss what the other would do if one was left injured while on the job. Amanda finds the Travis Tanner of the series, a special gift she's developed just for you, dearl listeners. And they hop in a horse-drawn carriage for a fast and furious trip down to prediciton town. Ep 139: The Pitt-Season 2

The Pitt is a lot of things, and an ABSOLUTE HIT is one of them. Maggie and Amand are more obsessed after Season 2 than they were with season one. And thinking ahead to Season 3? Well that's hardly a tough pill to swallow because they are hydrated, mediacated, and ready for more Pitt action. They talk about their favorite doctors and who they would want to treat them in real life, how well the Pitt doctors treat all of their patients, what they'd do if a baby landed on their doorstep, and who they'd like to see make a guest appearance in Season 3. They'll be patiently hanging out in the tv world of waiting rooms waiting for Season 3 to drop next year. Until then, they're paging each every doctor from the Pitt to join them for a guest episode. Dr. Santos? Dr. Robby? Dr. King? Dr. McKay? Dr. Langdon? Nurse Dana? They girls are ready to scrub in when you are! If you're loving this podcast and they hope you are, don't forget to like, subscribe, and leave a review! Thanks!

    Ep 136: Runaway

This episode is dedicated to sweet Whisky, the Producer Dog. He was the goodest of boys and the absolute best producer dog in the biz. No one could lap up water for minutes at a time or bark when it was lease expected like Whisky could. He will be missed and the podcast won't be the same without him. Because Whisky would want the show to go on, the girls talked about Runaway, the limited series drama that raised their heart rates and raised questions about the ending. They discussed how they would personally handle all of the drama and wild situations in this show, especially that wild ass ending. Run don't walk away from whatever you are doing and binge watch this show asap so you can get in on al the drama. Liking, subscribing, sharing, and reviewing really help this show. Ep 135: Steal

A six-episode show to cleasne the bing-watching pallet? Why yes, the girls did love it. So much you could say it did steal their hearts. In this episode, Amanda and Maggie talk about Judy Blume, McDonalds nuggets vs Jack in the Box tacos as a currency comparision, and whether or not they could actually pull off a heist like this. They discuss the logistics of hiding the digital money card, whether or not they could pull this off, even when there are shards of glass in the way, and how much guilt would consume them (if any) if they stumbled into $20 million and didn't give it all away! Ep 134: The Burbs-Season 1

Reviewing Season of The Burbs Since Maggie recently made a big move to The Burbs, it was only fitting the girls recap this new spooky comedy to prepare her for her life as a Suburbanite. they discuss how similar her life is to The Burbs, including nice walks through the HOAs and bodies in the basement. They also discuss what's the appropriate amount of time to leave a dead body in the house before calling the authorities. They have a lengthy discussion about a man's red flag(s) and the debate whether or not you should fake picking up dog poop on a walk or just leave it be. Oh, and they also review the show and make predictions for Season 2. If you loved this episode, make sure to like, subscribe, and leave a review and follow them on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube!

    Ep 133: Heated Rivalry

Reviewing Season 1 of Heated Rivalry Maggie and Amanda finally watched and reviewed Heated Rivalry and they're still unsure how all that heat didn't melt the ice! It's hardly a spoiler alert to say they both loved this show and they are making it their goal to make sure everyone watches it (and listens accordingly to OSF). I mean, if you watched Heated Rivalry and didn't fall in love with it, then what the puck is wrong with you? Ep 132: The Studio-Season 1

Reviewing Season 1 of The Studio. Isn't it great when two Sisters-in-law both absolutely love a show they are reviewing that is a tv show about peope who make moview who think they are really good about movies and it's reviewed on a podcast about tv shows (and sometimes movies?) Yeah, we think so, too. Two thumbs up for the cast, the writing, the art direction, and of course Brian Cranston in season one of The Studio. The girls talk about how they were both pacing during The Oner episode, how unbelievably chaotic and real this show is, and of course, Brian Cranston. They're so thankful the studio picked up The Studio for Season 2.

    Ep 131: Plurabis-Season 1

Recapping Season 1 of Plurabis Amanda and Maggie were so excited to watch this show because apparenty everyone "couldn't stop thinking about it." The girls? Well, they had a hard time thinking about how they could make it all the way through, until they did. And one of them even ended up really liking the show. The girls talk about what they would do if they were in this situation, are they team Carol or team The Others, how put together Carol is when seemingly the entire world has fallen apart, and of course, another plea to anyone who is considering not leaning into the architure of their home to please consider otherwise. This show really got them thinking: Hey, are we Plurabis fans now?

    EP 129: All's Fair, Season 1-Part 2

Reapping Season 1, Part 2 of All's Fair There's nothing fair about the fact this show is actually on TV but it's 2026 and here we are. Amanda and Maggie discuss this show in detail, much to Amanda's dismay. Maggie tries to convince her of all the redeemding qualities of this show while the only thing Amanda can get on board with is a nice, monochromatic dress code that really pulls an outfit together. Amanda is still floored there will be a season 2, but she's committed to this podcast, and more importantly, her wonderful sister-in-law, so she will through. Turns out, All is not Fair when recapping tv shows for a famous podcast.
