    Come, Follow Me: Building Relationally

Following Jesus was never meant to be a solo pursuit. We were created to know God and to be deeply connected to His people, working together to fulfill the mission He has given us. The Great Commission defines what we do, and the Great Commandment shapes how we do it: loving God and loving one another. Healthy, authentic relationships aren’t optional to the life of the church; they are how the body of Christ grows strong and moves together. We have a big job to do, and we were never meant to do it alone. You can join our OneLife Sunday morning gatherings via livestream at 9am and 11am CST every Sunday morning. Galatians: Whose Burden Are You Carrying?

Following Jesus was never meant to be an independent life. Galatians 6 calls us to shed our self-centered independence and become people who are willing to step into the mess, carry one another’s burdens, and restore those caught in sin with gentleness and love. We bear burdens not simply because it’s the right thing to do, but because Jesus carried the greatest burden we never could, taking our sin upon Himself and bringing us freedom. In a world that tells us to look out for ourselves, what would it look like to become a people known for carrying one another? Galatians: Walk with the Spirit: The Fruit

Why is real change so hard? We know who we want to become, but willpower alone never seems to be enough. The world promises transformation through self-improvement, but Scripture points us to something entirely different. In Galatians 5, Paul reveals that the Christian life isn’t about producing better behavior. It’s about the Holy Spirit producing His fruit within us as we learn to walk in step with Him. Real change isn’t found in trying harder, but in trusting the Spirit to do what we never could on our own. What would your life look like if you stopped striving to change yourself and started walking with Him? You can join our OneLife Sunday morning gatherings via livestream at 9am and 11am CST every Sunday morning. Galatians: Walk with the Spirit: The Fight

Every Christian is in a fight. Galatians 5 exposes the conflict taking place within every believer: the flesh pulls us toward self-rule, while the Spirit leads us into the life and freedom of Christ. The battle is real, but so is the victory God provides. Verse 16 says, “Walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.” It’s only through the Holy Spirit that we are empowered to fight the war of sin in our lives. Victory isn’t found in our own strength and competencies, but in deeper dependence on the One who loved us, gave Himself for us, and now lives in us by His Spirit. Galatians: True Freedom

Everyone wants freedom, but what does true freedom actually look like? Is it getting whatever you want? Living without limits? Galatians 5 reveals that the freedom Christ offers is far greater than the world’s definition. Jesus didn’t simply set us free from something. He set us free for something. Free from the endless cycle of performance and the power of sin, we are invited into a life that is secure in His grace and marked by love. What if true freedom isn’t found in living for yourself, but in becoming who Christ has set you free to be? Galatians: Two Paths

What does it really mean to be free? In Galatians 4:21–5:1, Paul communicates a powerful contrast between a life of striving to earn God's approval and the freedom that comes through trusting in Christ. Through the story of Hagar and Sarah, we see two paths presented to every human being - a path of self reliance and slavery, and a path of trusting God's promise and freedom. The gospel of Jesus invites us to lay down our self-reliance, embrace God's grace, and experience the joy and security of living as His beloved children. Galatians: Christ Formed in You

What does true gospel ministry actually look like? In Galatians 4:8–20, Paul moves from theology to tears. His goal isn’t applause, popularity, or performance—it is that Christ would be formed in people. True gospel ministry calls us out of slavery and into intimacy with God, invites us to become relatable examples of Christ, and requires the courage to open our hearts to others even when it costs us. Galatians: How to be a child of God

What comes to mind when you think about how God feels toward you? For many people, it’s disappointment, distance, or the feeling that they have to prove themselves. But Galatians 4 reveals a radically different picture. Through Christ, God doesn’t simply forgive sinners. He adopts them. The Father pursued you, not because you earned His love, but because He wanted you. Jesus came to bring us out of slavery to sin and into the security, intimacy, and joy of being sons and daughters of God. What if the Christian life is about far more than being forgiven? What if it’s about knowing the Father who has wanted you all along? You can join our OneLife Sunday morning gatherings via livestream at 9am and 11am CST every Sunday morning. Galatians: The Law’s True Purpose

If works of the law don’t save us, what’s the point of the law? Is it an enemy of faith in Christ? In Galatians 3:19-29, Paul shows that the law isn’t to be discarded but rightly understood because its purpose, its limits, and its trajectory, all point us to Christ. The law can’t save us. But it can point us to the one who can. You can join our OneLife Sunday morning gatherings via livestream at 9am and 11am CST every Sunday morning. Galatians: The Great Exchange

Is your salvation built on performance or promise? Most of us know we’re saved by grace, yet many of us still live as though God’s acceptance must be earned. Paul takes the Galatians back to Abraham to remind them that God’s promises have never depended on human effort. The law reveals our need, but only Christ can rescue us from it. Jesus, the only truly blessed and righteous One, became a curse on our behalf so that sinful people under the curse of the law could receive the blessing of God and be welcomed into His family. When we truly grasp that salvation rests on Christ’s work alone, it frees us to stop striving and simply receive what God has already promised. Galatians: What Does it Mean to be Gospel Centered?

In Galatians 2, Paul publicly confronts Peter because his behavior was out of step with the truth of the gospel. By separating himself from Gentile believers, Peter was reinforcing a counterfeit gospel that said acceptance with God comes through religious performance rather than faith in Christ alone. Paul reminds us that justification is by grace through faith, not by works, and that the true gospel shapes both what we believe and how we live. When fear, hypocrisy, or people-pleasing begin to direct our behavior, the gospel is at stake. And for those stuck in shame or feeling like a failure, the gospel offers freedom: you are not justified by your performance, but by faith in the One who loved you and gave Himself for you. Galatians: Protecting Against False Gospels

Paul preached the same gospel to Jews and Gentiles—grace alone, nothing added. When Titus, a Gentile, was fully accepted without adopting Jewish law, it made the message unmistakable: we are saved by grace, not by what we do. But that truth must be guarded. From the beginning, false teachers tried to add to the gospel, and the same danger remains today. We’re called to hold fast to the true gospel, discern what’s false, and not drift into performance or striving. The invitation for us is to examine where we’ve added to grace and return again to the gospel of Jesus that saves and transforms. Galatians: A Life Rewritten

Paul’s story is one of radical change—once opposing God and trusting in his own righteousness, now seeing clearly through the gospel. Writing to the Galatian church, his urgency comes from a dangerous distortion: adding anything to Jesus. Whether through rebellion or trying to earn God’s approval, both paths miss Him. Before Christ, we were all far from God, even when we looked “good.” The gospel isn’t a formula to follow but a person to know. You’re not serving an equation—you’re serving Jesus. So are you telling a story about yourself, or living a testimony that points to Him? You can join our OneLife Sunday morning gatherings via livestream at 9am and 11am CST every Sunday morning. Galatians: Guarding the Gospel

As we begin a new series through Galatians, we’re confronted with a sobering reality: even small distortions of the gospel can lead us away from the truth. From the beginning, false teachers have added to Jesus, turning “Christ alone” into “Christ plus something else.” But the true gospel comes from God, not us—it’s about what Jesus has accomplished, not what we must earn. Legalism may look like devotion, but it leads to exhaustion and bondage, shifting our focus from Christ’s finished work to our own performance. The good news is that God’s grace comes before our effort, His approval is secured in Christ, and the gospel leads to real freedom. So we hold fast—guarding the truth with both our words and our lives—refusing to drift back into the very bondage Jesus died to set us free from.
