Ep 3: Build your own accommodations, with Gabriela Aljure (Summary episode in English)

Moving between countries isn't a lifestyle choice for Gabi, it's an accommodation she built for herself. Our first-ever guest is a data and AI consultant who has ADHD, and who can't stay anywhere longer than three months without it costing her. Her last job knew that, agreed to it, then reneged, so she left. We also get into how she cuts through AI hype, her paid workshops on ADHD systems, and why she thinks every accommodation you build for yourself is worth sharing.

Ep 2: Gender diversity and inclusion in the tech industry - Europe edition - English

This episode brings a reading of "A Phenomenological Study to Understand Gender Diversity and Inclusion in the Tech Industry" by Faiza Khan and Sanjay Bhattacharya, published in Cardiometry (2022). The paper offers a synthesized literature review on why women remain underrepresented in tech — from structural barriers and the gender pay gap to attrition rates nearly double those of men in STEM fields. I also share the results of a personal research project: a mapped-out list of organizations and communities supporting women and gender-diverse people in tech across Europe, sorted by focus: education and skills training, networking and peer support, career development and mentorship, advocacy and representation, domain-specific communities, entrepreneurship and funding, and intersectional spaces. A more personal episode than usual — I open up briefly about recognizing myself in some of the research.

Ep 1: EU is Leaving Big Tech, and Art vs technological disruptions - English

In this episode, we are bringing you a paper reading that serves us to observe the perspectives of artists that embrace technological disruptions and state-of-the-art tools. Its very clear that there’s a lot of rejection to AI in general but particularly to art that has been made with AI. I think is important to research, keep an open mind, think critically, and stay curious, so for this first episode I’m bringing a paper that talks about the work of some of my favourite artists: Holly Herndon and Sophie.
