Our first-ever guest is a data and AI consultant who has ADHD, and who can't stay anywhere longer than three months without it costing her.     Ep 2: Gender diversity and inclusion in the tech industry - Europe edition - English

    This episode brings a reading of "A Phenomenological Study to Understand Gender Diversity and Inclusion in the Tech Industry" by Faiza Khan and Sanjay Bhattacharya, published in Cardiometry (2022). The paper offers a synthesized literature review on why women remain underrepresented in tech — from structural barriers and the gender pay gap to attrition rates nearly double those of men in STEM fields. I also share the results of a personal research project: a mapped-out list of organizations and communities supporting women and gender-diverse people in tech across Europe, sorted by focus: education and skills training, networking and peer support, career development and mentorship, advocacy and representation, domain-specific communities, entrepreneurship and funding, and intersectional spaces.
