On each episode of “Object of Desire,” 1stDibs’ new podcast, we talk with an influential tastemaker, style setter or cultural observer about that one remarkable thing in their life — whether it’s design, art, jewelry or fashion — that they especially love. Their stories are moving, inspirational, educational and sometimes even a bit embarrassing. Regardless, they transcend the biographical to tell us about the culture at large and shed light on the power of things to provide each of us with a sense of self, a sense of home and a meaningful connection to the world around us.
