Next Level Human

Jade Teta

Next Level Human with Dr. Jade Teta is identity coaching grounded in physiology — where belief becomes biology. Each week, clinician, educator, and author Dr. Jade Teta explores how the stories and identities we carry set the nervous system, hormones, and health that follow — and how to change them. As humans we have four jobs: to earn and manage money, to attain and maintain health, to build and sustain relationships, and to find meaning and make a difference. All four are downstream of identity. This is the work of becoming.

The Coming Wealth Transfer: Fear, Infrastructure, and the Next Two Years with Brandon Belk- Ep. 313

Send us Fan Mail Money is the one job that scares and confuses me most — so I brought in the person I go to when I need to understand it: my friend Brandon Belk. A few years ago, right as my business collapsed and I was starting over at 50, I gave Brandon $6K and forgot about it. Two years later it had become $60K. This episode is me dragging his thinking into the open so you can listen in on the conversation we keep having off-air. In this conversation, we get into: Why fear might be a compass pointing toward opportunity rather than away from it Why Brandon invests in infrastructure and scarcity instead of the shiny objects everyone argues about What XRP and XLM are actually doing underneath the noise Decentralization as a multi-century meta-trend — in knowledge, power, and money The K-shaped economy and the "mud" that keeps so many of us stuck Why he believes the next two years are the window Brandon is on Substack @brandonbelk you can also find him at growinnerouter.com. The Truth About Nervous System Regulation- Ep. 309

Send us Fan Mail In this conversation, Jade Teta discusses the concept of nervous system regulation and its place in the broader context of health and wellness. He argues that while nervous system regulation is important, it is not the root cause of health issues. Instead, he emphasizes the significance of identity and consciousness in shaping our experiences and health outcomes. The discussion explores the evolution of health trends, the impact of childhood experiences on identity, and the importance of integrating stories and beliefs to facilitate personal transformation. Teta also highlights the limitations of traditional therapeutic approaches and advocates for a more holistic understanding of health that incorporates both psychological and physiological aspects. takeaways Nervous system regulation is a popular trend but not the root cause of health issues. Identity and consciousness play a crucial role in health and wellness. Childhood experiences significantly shape our identity and perceptions. The stories we tell ourselves influence our reality and health outcomes. Integration of identities and experiences is essential for personal growth. Understanding, believing, and knowing are different stages of personal transformation. Traumas are events, while dramas are our interpretations of those events. Books and logical explanations alone do not lead to lasting change. The subconscious mind plays a key role in shaping our identities and behaviors. A holistic approach to health must consider both psychological and physiological factors. Danny clarifies the difference between empathy—feeling with someone—and compassion, which involves understanding and acting to alleviate suffering without becoming overwhelmed by others' emotions. The discussion evolves into the importance of emotional maturity, emphasizing that true compassion requires a balance of emotional awareness and boundaries to avoid burnout and resentment. As the dialogue progresses, Jade and Danny share insights on emotional intelligence, the necessity of emotional regulation, and the importance of setting boundaries in relationships. They highlight the challenges faced by individuals who are naturally empathetic, often leading to exhaustion and feelings of being taken advantage of. Send us Fan Mail In this episode of the Next Level Human Podcast, Dr. Jade Teta interviews Dr. Kultar Garcha, the Chief Medical Officer of Halo, about the Halo device, a transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) technology. They discuss the device's applications in enhancing neuroplasticity, mood, focus, and sleep, as well as its differences from other brain stimulation technologies like EEG and TMS. Dr. Garcha shares insights from real-world data, highlighting the device's effectiveness in improving mental health and cognitive functions, and emphasizes the importance of consistent use and adherence to protocols for optimal results. takeaways The Halo device uses transcranial direct current stimulation to enhance neuroplasticity. tDCS is different from EEG and TMS; it modulates brain activity rather than measuring it. Real-world data shows over 60% improvement in mood, focus, and sleep among users. Repeated use of the device is crucial for long-term benefits. The device can be used alongside meditation and mindfulness practices for enhanced effects. User adherence to the stimulation protocol significantly impacts outcomes. The Habenula, Men, And The Hijack Of Modern Anger with Dr Kyra Bobinet- Ep. 302

Send us Fan Mail In this conversation, Jade Teta and Dr. Kyra Bobinet explore the neuroscience behind human behavior, particularly focusing on the habanula, a brain structure that influences motivation and emotional responses. They discuss how rage baiting in social media affects men more significantly due to their biological makeup and the societal pressures they face. The conversation delves into coping mechanisms, the importance of connection, and the need for purpose in life, emphasizing that thriving is a mutual endeavor. Practical takeaways are provided for listeners to improve their mental well-being and navigate the challenges of modern life. Takeaways: The habanula is a master control switch in the brain. Self-beratement leads to decreased motivation. Rage baiting activates the habanula, leading to negative emotions. Men's higher testosterone levels make them more susceptible to rage bait. Connection is a fundamental human need. Coping mechanisms include striving, seeking, and self-soothing. Purpose and authenticity can redirect negative emotions. Collective purpose is more beneficial than individualism. Understanding the habanula can help manage emotional responses. Thriving is a mutual endeavor, requiring collaboration. The Leadership Factor: Can Anyone Lead? with Danny Coleman & Ray Hinish- Ep. 301

Send us Fan Mail In this conversation, Jade Teta, Danny Coleman, and Ray Hinish explore the multifaceted nature of leadership, discussing whether leadership can be developed, the qualities that define effective leaders, and the importance of self-leadership. They delve into the complexities of leadership dynamics, including the role of clarity, the impact of personal transformation, and the necessity of creating calm in uncertain environments. The discussion emphasizes the significance of understanding dualities in leadership and the responsibility leaders have towards their teams and themselves. Takeaways Leadership can be developed, but it requires the right mindset and education. Self-leadership is foundational to effective leadership. Clarity and direction are essential qualities of a good leader. A leader's job is to create calm in uncertainty, not certainty. The best leaders prioritize both self and others simultaneously. Leadership is influenced by the qualities of the people being led. You cannot fake authenticity in leadership; it must come from within. The environment and culture of a team reflect the leader's state of being. Effective leadership involves navigating dualities and paradoxes. She Learned to Cry. Her Virus Disappeared? With Naomi Han - Ep. 300

Send us Fan Mail What if the one lever you’ve never pulled—the one you were taught to avoid—was the key your biology was waiting for? In this conversation, I sit down with clinician Naomi Han to unpack a wild case: eight years of stable hepatitis B labs on antivirals… then, after deep subconscious work and finally learning to cry, her viral load began to free-fall—again and again on repeat testing. No new meds. No new diet. Same protocol. Different nervous system. We don’t shout “cure.” We do ask better questions. How do grief, abandonment, and unprocessed emotion ride shotgun with the immune system? What happens when a lifetime of holding it in finally lets go? Two evidence-based clinicians walk the tightrope between data and the messy human interior—where identity shifts, tears flow, and sometimes numbers move. If you’ve tried every protocol and still feel stuck, this one’s going to get under your skin… in the best way. Through a personal story about a prophetic dream that accurately predicted my sister's pregnancy years ago, I explore how these moments of intuition reveal our true nature as spiritual beings having a temporary human experience. The Human Game operates in two distinct phases. First comes the conditioning phase, where childhood experiences and traumas create what I call MUD—Misguided Unconscious Decisions—that cloud our vision and keep us operating from instinct rather than intuition. Then comes the awakening phase, where we recognize our unique purpose and the specific work only we can do based on our particular combination of experiences, talents, and perspectives. Understanding the difference between instinct and intuition is crucial. Instinct feels familiar but leads to repeating the same patterns and struggles. Intuition initially feels uncomfortable but leads to synchronicities, growth, and fulfillment. The intellect serves whichever of these we choose to follow. True transformation requires more than just habit change. We must rewrite our limiting stories, rewire our emotional patterns, and then retrain our behaviors—in that order. Most approaches focus only on retraining while neglecting the deeper work of rewriting and rewiring, which is why they often produce limited results. Whether you interpret this framework literally or metaphorically doesn't matter as much as its utility in helping you clear away the mud, reconnect with source consciousness, and discover the unique contribution only you can make. The Human Game isn't just about personal growth—it's about participating in the evolution of consciousness itself. Ready to start playing? The Human Game program launches September 8th. Healing Through Frequency with Sigmar Berg- Ep. 294

Send us Fan Mail A small flute-like device that emits a 528 hertz tone could revolutionize how we think about healing, connection, and meditation. Sigmar Berg, founder of LoveTuner, joins Dr. Jade Teta to explore the fascinating science behind frequency healing and its profound implications for our wellbeing. The conversation dives deep into the electromagnetic field of the heart, which extends 3-6 feet beyond our physical bodies and interacts with others around us. This field, measured by researchers at the HeartMath Institute, strengthens when we're in parasympathetic states—precisely what the Love Tuner helps achieve through controlled exhalation and frequency exposure. What makes this approach particularly revolutionary is its accessibility. While traditional meditation often requires significant time and practice, biofeedback testing showed that complete beginners using the Love Tuner achieved the same brainwave patterns as experienced meditators in just six minutes rather than twenty. The audible feedback provided during exhalation helps maintain breath control while simultaneously immersing users in the healing frequency. Perhaps most fascinating is how this frequency affects water molecules. Since our bodies are approximately 75% water (with blood being 91% water), the ability of the 528 Hz frequency to rapidly restructure water into organized patterns—similar to what's found in pristine mountain springs—suggests profound implications for cellular function and overall health. This relationship between sound, vibration, water, and healing represents an exciting frontier in our understanding of holistic wellbeing. Try starting your day with a single tune to "set the tone," and return to this simple practice whenever anxiety arises or clarity is needed. As Sigmar reminds us: anxiety cannot exist in this frequency—darkness cannot persist in a room filled with light.
