Tech chiefs agree to “slow the pace” of AI development
Sam Altman and Elon Musk have backed a call from the head of Anthropic, Dario Amodei, to “slow the pace” of artificial intelligence development. More people are building their pensions
Pension ownership has risen by nearly 20 per cent since the introduction of the MyFutureFund scheme, according to new research from the ESRI. Just two in five people think their pension will provide a good standard of living in retirement. Today marks 25 years since 9/11
Today marks 25 years since 9/11. The terrorist attacks on locations across America resulted in the deaths of nearly three thousand people. It began when two hijacked planes crashed into the Twin Towers in New York City, and that's where a memorial service is being held later today. Newstalk reporter Emily Keegan is in New York and sent us this report.
