Ally Pally subsequently rise to the top of an MCCL division for the first time in a fair old while. Elsewhere, what do you do when a fielder inadvertently wipes out the 'keeper? Sal explains..... Through the pain barrier.

Last summer Chris Woakes famously went out to bat against India with a dislocated shoulder. Enfield's Harry Wilkins can now officially say "Woakesy, hold my beer". Broken bones didn't prevent Wilkins from going out to bat one-handed in dramatic run chase against Bessborough on Saturday. Harry joins Sal and Dan to talk us through the day's events. Elsewhere, Teddington are held by Finchley, Harrow keep plugging along. And, Tentelow are - finally - off the mark in Div 7. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

    Low scoring drama

Sometimes the best games of cricket aren't ones where the ball is smashed everywhere. Week 6 in the MCCL is a great example of that. Twickenham pull off a miracle and win with only 78 on the board, West Harrow (somehow) nearly defend 39 against Enfield. Harrow Town win despite posting only 106, Ally Pally just about chase 101. Low scores, high drama was very much the order of the day. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

    Rain-dodging season

Just five 1st XI games managed to beat the weather on 6 June. One was in Div 7, two in Div 6, one in Div 4 and Twickenham v Stanmore in the Prem. And, Twickenham will be much the happier; by virtue of our old friend Vera Duckworth and her sums, they got home and with that their first ten points of the season. Plus, how bad exactly was that Test Match track and what's it like being an umpire on a rainy day? Spoiler. Not much fun.... Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

    Ealing and Teddington march on....

The premier division league table is taking shape, but not perhaps in the way many anticipated. Ealing are flying, North Midd and Shay Boo are - on the face of it at least - struggling. Elsewhere, unpredictability never seems to be far away. That's most obviously the case with Tentelow in Div 7; beaten by Gautum Buddha on Saturday, facing Shepherd's Bush in the last 16 of the T20 on Monday. They couldn't, could they....? Ealing offically rise from the dead

A month ago, Ealing needed to win four from four to stay up. The odds were against them. Kristian Martin's side cared little for that and completed their Lazarus-like comeback with a win against Harrow St Mary's in Week 18. Elsewhere, Finchley won the big game of the day in Div 1, but it was Div 5 that provided the real drama; heard the one about eight runs being the difference between top and fifth? If not, listen in.
