Tracer Rounds Welcomes Veteran Scott Hyder
transcript
show notes
This week on the show, we’re joined by Scott Hyder — a disabled Army veteran, former Combat Engineer, and longtime police officer who has spent his life serving others both in uniform and in the community. After 10 years in the Army and multiple humanitarian missions around the world, Scott continued his commitment to public safety through law enforcement and specialized enforcement roles. Scott is a powerful mental health advocate, certified in QPR, CISM, and peer support, and he’s the founder of the Hidden Battles Foundation, supporting veterans, first responders, and their families. He’s a speaker, consultant, and host of a radio show and podcast focused on honest conversations about service, trauma, resilience, and healing. And yes — he also brings humor to the mission through stand‑up comedy, using laughter as a bridge to connection and recovery. Tune in for a real, authentic conversation about leadership, mental health, and the strength it takes to keep showing up for others.
