What To Expect When You're Kidnapped By The Royal Family

Before you go and marry into the Royal Family, be warned that you have to undergo kidnapping training, just like Meghan Markle did this week. At least she'll be prepared for anything. Except, perhaps, a brand new NSFW skincare trend from Korea that has our gag reflex going. Plus with the passing of the biggest name in Cosmology, are we allowed to separate people's professional work from their personalities after they die? And how the hell do you make friends as an adult? Barnaby Joyce, What A Guy

Oops, Barnaby Joyce has done it again. He’s played with our hearts. He got lost in the game. The member for New England has raised the issue of a ‘grey area’ over whether or not he's the biological father of his girlfriends baby. We hope someone is telling Vicki to run for the hills. Plus, Frances McDormand made a kick-ass speech at the Oscars this week, but what the hell was she talking about when she said inclusion rider? And what the heck do you do if you are being gaslighted at work? One Night Stands And Avo Etiquette

If you're single get your backside up to the Northern Territory, because it's a bit of a blokefest right now. It's a serious problem, but not nearly as serious as the fact we are ALL destroying avocados by being a bit too touchy-feely in our ongoing quest for the perfect av. Plus, a list of dinner party dos and don'ts that isolates anyone who's vegan, and a listener dilemma that has Mia thinking back to her treacherous single days. IMPORTANT STUFF: Your delightful hosts are Rachel Corbett, Jessie Stephens and Mia Freedman Producer: Luca Lavigne RECOMMENDATIONS Jessie recommends checking out Jordan Peterson on Youtube and reading his book 12 Rules For Life: An Antidote For Chaos. This One's For Dolly

Here at Mamamia Out Loud we wondered how we should talk about the devastating suicide of 14-year-old Dolly Everett. Would we be invading the families privacy? What could we add to the conversation? How could we make a difference? But we realised when tragedies happen you need to talk about them. To process them, to shed light on them and to try to prevent them from happening again. To do this we rang friend of the show Rebecca Sparrow, a woman who talks to teenage girls for a living to learn more about what we can do. If you are going through a difficult time and feel like you need help or just someone to talk to, please ring Lifeline on 13 11 14. Since we're a show of light and shade, we also discuss if women quitting there jobs is the right way to close the gender pay gap and why Kanye West is forcing Kim Kardashian to wear teeny tiny sunglasses. Like we said, we're a show of light and shade. Show Notes Donate to Dolly's Dream here. Plus, Jessie spent a lot of time at the beach over the summer break and she’s feeling a bit bad about her body, so we’re here to fix it. And can’t stop picking up your phone?
