Jessie taps into her own experiences with mental health to create an incredible fictional story that follows the character of Adella, a woman nearing the end of her late twenties who has found herself in a psychiatric unit, recovering from a mental breakdown. In this conversation, Jessie candidly opens up about her very real and personal battle with anxiety and depression and what happened during pregnancy.
