Abhinav Akhouri, Lucid Air Grand Touring Owner, Multiple Air Buyer, My Favorite Air Accessories-Encore

Send us Fan Mail Hello, Lucid fans! I am delighted to welcome Abhinav Akhouri, aka Abhi, as my guest on this week’s Lucid Driver podcast. I first met Abhi on Instagram where we follow each other. He reacted to one of my posts about an upcoming episode on @luciddriverpodcast. Abhi, who is on his third Air, a gorgeous White Stealth Grand Touring, commented I should host a podcast about Lucid accessories and what’s worth it and what’s not. I responded that was a good idea, and I thanked him for his kind comment that, “I really appreciate what you are doing, and I am hopeful that it will help bring more awareness for the Lucid brand.” He let me know what accessories he had experience with—essentially everything available for the Air—and offered to be a resource for me coming up with the content for the episode. I told Abhi. “You’re not getting off that easy, and invited him to come on the show” Abhi told me, “I live in Miami, Florida. I am a 36-year-old Management Consultant. I had leased a 2023 Air Pure for an ex and loved it so much that I leased a second 2023 Air Pure for myself. Then I got the itch to get a Grand Touring, so early returned both Pures and leased a 2025 Air GT (Bianca) in Nov 2024. I work from home, so I don't necessarily use my car for commuting, every drive feels special and fun. I first heard about Lucid through MKBHD's video back in 2017 I believe and thought it was an incredible blend of my 2 loves: Cars and Technology. I also have a cousin who works as an engineer at Lucid and hearing his passion for the product and the brand, had me very intrigued. I had the opportunity to visit the Headquarters in 2024, and in talking with Peter, Derek, and the other executives, I could see why this is easily the best EV in the world. Kurt Hintz, Owner, 2024 Lucid Air Sapphire, 2026 Lucid Gravity Grand Touring, 2022 Lucid Air Grand Touring (RIP)

Send us Fan Mail Hello, Lucid fans! I am delighted to welcome as my guest on this week’s Lucid Driver podcast, Kurt Hintz. You know when it rains it pours. In the first 16 months of Lucid Driver podcast’s existence, it was tough to get a Sapphire owner on the show; I was fortunate to host Michael Mainetti, a New York attorney over a year ago; Micheal had Sapphire number 34 out of the first 250. However, it has been a Sapphire drought since. Then, last week I hosted a Sapphire owner who lives in Germany, and then again, this week we are fortunate to have Kurt Hintz. I have had Sapphire households, 2-Gravity households, a household with a Lucid Dream Edition Air Grand Touring and a Lucid Gravity Dream Edition but no one quite matches the Hintz household! Kurt posted this on Facebook, and I was like, ‘Let the begging for him to come on the podcast begin’: “My first Lucid was an Air Grand Touring. Loved the car from the moment I drove it. Unfortunately, a minor accident totaled it. Replaced it with a Gravity Grand Touring. Love the car, my wife's Navigator lease was up, so I opted to give her the Gravity and buy myself the Sapphire. My toy car is a McLaren 750s. While esthetically the McLaren is superior, and the power delivers. It's hard to not belly laugh every time I launch this Sapphire. Hands down the most amazing vehicle I've ever owned.” Are you a Lucid owner with a compelling story to share, contact me at LucidDriverPodcast@gmail.com We'd love to hear from EV/Automotive enthusiasts with stories relevant to Lucid fans at LucidDriverPodcast@gmail.com Like my Lucid Driver podcast Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61575927028097 Check out my world-leading podcast about ocean cruising, The Joy of Cruising Podcast https://www.thejoyofcruisingpodcast.com/

Nenad Lukic, Owner, 2026 Lucid Air Sapphire (and Tesla Model S Plaid)

Send us Fan Mail Hello, Lucid fans! I am delighted to welcome as my guest on this week’s Lucid Driver podcast, Nenad Lukic of Bavaria, Germany. It’s fitting that just as Lucid Driver podcast attains its 85th country of listeners that we get to host our 2ndinternational guest—the first several months ago also from Germany. Nenad is also my first guest to own a 2026 Lucid Air Sapphire! I have had one other Sapphire owner on the show—he was one of the OGs, number 34 to be exact. Nenadalso owns a 2023 Tesla Model S Plaid so this should be fun! Nenad told me, “I am the owner of a small IT company in Germany. I hold a Master of Science in Project and Process Management from FH Vienna. I am passionate about cars, enjoy traveling, and love discovering different cultures and learning from new experiences. Above all, I am most proud of my family. I found the love of my life, and together we are blessed with two wonderful boys, aged 10 and 13, who bring so much joy and meaning to my life.” Are you a Lucid owner with a compelling story to share, contact me at LucidDriverPodcast@gmail.com We'd love to hear from EV/Automotive enthusiasts with stories relevant to Lucid fans at LucidDriverPodcast@gmail.com Like my Lucid Driver podcast Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61575927028097 Check out my world-leading podcast about ocean cruising, The Joy of Cruising Podcast https://www.thejoyofcruisingpodcast.com/

Mike Caudill, Chasing Horsepower, Automotive News

Send us Fan Mail Hello, Lucid fans! I am delighted to welcome as my guest on this week’s Lucid Driver podcast nationally recognized automotive expert, Mike Caudill. I “met” Mike when I came across his YouTube review of a 2025 Lucid Air Touring. He had me at the title, “Tesla should be TERRIFIED.” The review delivered; check it out here: Tesla should be TERRIFIED Mike Caudill has spent more than two decades as a journalist and one of the most recognizable voices covering the transportation industry. A nationally recognized television and radio news personality, he has reported on and analyzed the news of the day for outlets across the country, appearing in thousands of media segments ranging from major national networks to local stations. For years he served as one of the lead automotive reporters for the Fox Sports Automotive Team, and he became a regular expert contributor on Fox News Channel, working the floor at all the major auto shows from Los Angeles and Detroit to Chicago and New York. Over the course of his career, he has covered many of the industry's biggest breaking stories, including the Takata airbag recalls, Cash for Clunkers and the automotive bailout. His reporting has never been confined to four wheels. Mike is considered an expert contributor on all forms of mainstream transportation, covering automotive, motorcycle, marine and recreational vehicles, and his work spans everything from general news to industry politics. As both an on-camera personality and a longtime public relations professional working with nearly every major vehicle brand, he brings an insider's perspective that few in the field can match. In late 2024, Mike channeled that experience into Chasing Horsepower, a consumer-focused multimedia platform and YouTube channel built on honest, unbiased reviews to help buyers make smarter decisions. Inspired by the magazines he grew up reading, like MotorTrend, Car and Driver and Road & Track, the brand pushes vehicles to their limits and goes beyond cars to cover motorcycles, boats and RVs. It joined an already deep body of video work on his longtime channel, @itsmikecaudill, where he has documented auto shows, reviews and behind-the-scenes reporting for years. Mike is also a sought-after host and emcee on the event circuit, a familiar presence at SEMA and all of the major auto shows where he interviews builders, executives and racing legends. Richard Silva, Owner, 2023 Iridescent ‘Galaxy’ Lucid Air Touring, Owner Eye Kandy Wraps/Eye Kandy Designs

Send us Fan Mail Hello, Lucid fans! I am delighted to welcome Richard Silva (RJ) Owner, Eye Kandy Wraps www.eyekandywraps.com, and Eye Kandy Designs www.EyeKandyDesigns.com as my guest on this week’s Lucid Driver podcast. RJ told me, “I’ve always been into custom vehicles since I was young working on vehicles with my Dad in our garage. I started dating my high school sweetheart in ‘98, married her in’08. Following her medical schooling she ultimately ended up at Mayo Clinic Phoenix/Scottsdale where we now have an 8-year-old girl, 4- and 2-year-old boys. I’ve owned my Eye Kandy Designs business since leaving my Architectural career in 2004 to pursue my own business in graphic design and apparel. Started Eye Kandy Wraps about 6 years ago, technically an addition to Eye Kandy Designs but just wanted to keep the two separates for liability reasons. When I went to 2023 SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) in Las Vegas I was one of the owners that had preordered in 2022 and received my Air Touring on Feb 14, 2023. I come from a background of customizing vehicles and knew I wanted to do the same with my Lucid before I even got it. Wrapped it in May of 2023 in colored PPF, put it on full air ride suspension and changed the wheels in October 2023 to Vossen 22" wrapped in Lexani Performance tires—just in time to take it to the SEMA show in Las Vegas in November in the Flexishield Booth. Let's just say it was getting more attention than all the other cars in the booth which included a Hamilton collection exotic and Stradman's Lamborghini....not because it was worth more but because it was so unique and the first one in the world (still is) on full air ride suspension and highly customized. The following year 2024 it went again to SEMA under Strada Wheels and actually took the spot of what was supposed to be Shaq's 2-door Air ai it was not completed in time. I'm one of two Lucid Owners regional leads in the Phoenix, AZ area and help Susanne where I can with the planned owner’s rallies. I have thrown several Lucid's and Lattes which the name came about by Debbie Doll, and I am the one who designed the logo. I've been to the factory for Lucid Family Day for two years, as well as was invited to the Lucid Gravity reveal day where I got my three hood signatures from the executives. I've driven to EV fests two years (missed this last year) and got to hang out with the Cali owners. I personally wrap Airs and Gravity’s with Clear and color PPF as well as vinyl under my Eye Kandy Wraps business. I also own Eye Kandy Designs which specializes in making unique apparel and laser engraved and printed material which I have made several non-official Lucid merch for Debbie's Lucids and Lattes and ours that we hold here in AZ. RJ is clearly a Lucid OG Are you a Lucid owner with a compelling story to share, contact me at LucidDriverPodcast@gmail.com We'd love to hear from EV/Automotive enthusiasts with stories relevant to Lucid fans at LucidDriverPodcast@gmail.com Like my Lucid Driver podcast Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61575927028097 Check out my world-leading podcast about ocean cruising, The Joy of Cruising Podcast https://www.thejoyofcruisingpodcast.com/

Eddy M, A First for Lucid Driver, A 2-Lucid Gravity Household!

Send us Fan Mail Hello, Lucid fans! I am delighted to welcome Eddy M. as my guest on this week’s Lucid Driver podcast. Let me preface by pointing out the podcast has hosted the owner of Lucid Sapphire #34; a couple of owners of both Lucid Air and Lucid Gravity; even a married couple where he had a Lucid Air Grand Touring Dream Edition, and she had a Lucid Gravity Grand Touring Dream Edition! As wonderful as those ownership experiences were for me to bring to the global Lucid community, Eddy represents a new distinction—my first guest who owns two Gravity’s. There can’t be many 2-Gravity household in existence, can there? If you are listening, contact me as you have an open invitation to Lucid Driver podcast. Eddy told me, “I’m a Dad of a growing family with a small child and one on the way. We need the space. I’m a car guy who really appreciates EVs. First bought my wife the Gravity for the space and then was going to buy a Rivian R1S but ultimately went with a second Gravity for the better-quality ride experience and space. Creating Experiences with A Lucid Air Touring as A Limo Driver; We Talk to Bassem-Encore Presentation

Send us Fan Mail Encore Presentation Hello, Lucid fans! This is Paul. I am delighted to welcome this week’s guest on Lucid Driver Podcast. Bassem, a passionate Lucid Air Touring owner I met on Lucidowners.com. Bassem can offer insights about the Lucid Air that come from a unique perspective versus that of most of us Lucid owners. He uses his Lucid Air as a limousine and spends the majority of his time in his Lucid Air as a professional Limo Driver. However, that’s not the only unique perspective that Bassem can speak from. Bassem says, “I am a firm believer in Lucid from several perspectives. I am always eager to find relevant content especially since you are a seasoned Podcaster, you know there is an audience that is eager to learn more beyond press releases from real people sharing their content. I do share your passions as I have arrived at a similar conclusion to you. My journey with EV's began in 2013 when I purchased a Tesla Model S. Naturally, it was a revolutionary new vehicle platform back then and I have enjoyed it. Since then, I have driven multiple EV’s, so my opinions have had time to mature and for me to understand the nature of driving, owning and taking the time to enjoy an EV. Being also a former Tesla employee working on Battery Systems, it did not take long for me to recognize once Lucid released their Vehicle Architecture alongside actual battery and motor components, that they really took the time to design functional pieces of art that propels the Air. Bassem says, “On the ride home, it would be safe to say, that from Motown to Al Green to Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes make a regular appearance. The ride home is always challenging one, as you realize you've been running on an adrenaline high for the past 10 plus hours, along side all the different conversations and personalities encountered. So, it's a time to roll down the windows and engage Drive Assist!” Are you a Lucid owner with a compelling story to share, contact me at LucidDriverPodcast@gmail.com We'd love to hear from EV/Automotive enthusiasts with stories relevant to Lucid fans at LucidDriverPodcast@gmail.com Like my Lucid Driver podcast Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61575927028097 Check out my world-leading podcast about ocean cruising, The Joy of Cruising Podcast https://www.thejoyofcruisingpodcast.com/

Rei Vardi, CEO and Founder, Eon EV Car Rental Company

Send us Fan Mail Hello, Lucid fans! I am delighted to welcome Rei Vardi, CEO and founder of Eon as my guest on this week’s Lucid Driver podcast. According to https://www.eonrides.com, Eon is the leading EV car rental company in the US, providing customers with an unmatched driving experience. Rei started Eon in college with his own car and has grown it into a practical solution for reducing emissions in transportation, and enabling a shared economy of electric vehicles that also lowers the carbon footprint of driving. Eon recently added Lucid to its platform. We’ll discuss a wide range of topics relating to EVs, mobility, the shared car economy, and other matters. Rei Vardi is the founder and CEO of Eon, a bootstrapped national EV rental platform he started in 2018 from his dorm room at Boston University - after renting out his dad's Tesla ended in scratched panels, a stranded renter, and one bank robbery. That chaos became the insight behind Eon: a car is a computer on wheels, so let the software run the rental. Today Eon connects renters to thousands of premium EVs across 50+ cities, with no counters, no paperwork, and drivers in the car in 40 seconds. With $0 raised, Eon has paid car owners over $10M, verified 25,000+ drivers, and saved an estimated 16 million pounds of CO₂ - all while staying profitable and growing entirely through word of mouth. Michael Moy, Lucid Air Touring Owner, Co-Worker of the Tesla Founders-Encore

Send us Fan Mail This is an encore episode. Hello, Lucid fans! I am delighted to welcome Michael Moy as my guest on this week’s Lucid Driver podcast. What a story Michael has! He told me, “I retired several years ago after 30 years at various startup companies. I worked with and for Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning [the founders and original executives of Tesla] at three high tech startups. Here’s their story: https://www.cnbc.com/video/2021/02/06/how-tesla-was-founded-martin-eberhard-and-marc-tarpenning-tell-all.html in case this is news to you as it is to many people. Needless to say—I was an early Tesla watcher but from afar. The idea had always been when Tesla opened a New York location—I’d try to get in. But by the time that happened Elon had fired all but one or two people I had worked with. I never did buy a Tesla though I put money down on a Model 3. The last person I knew at Tesla—ended up going to Atieva/Lucid—so I watched to see what she was doing. The Lucid Air was unveiled in 2017 at the NY auto show with a starting price of $60K. The all-glass roof and reclining executive rear seats won me over. This was the car for me. Needless to say, when the car came out at $169K in 2021—I had sticker shock for sure! I ended up ordering the Air Touring in June ‘22 and took delivery on Valentine’s Day 2023. So, 26 months and 40K miles later – I still love the car. It’s my first EV and I’ve set a very high bar for any car I buy in the future. I have been to almost all the Lucid studio and service centers from Tyson Corner to Natick and Boston Seaport. I’ve been to over a dozen lucid events and rallies. I drove from NJ to Tampa and back in 4 days. Absolutely no issues charging the car along 95. Stayed at two hotels with free chargers but otherwise all Electrify America stations. As an active member of the NJ Electric Vehicle Association I’ve attended over a dozen Drive Electric and First Responder events in NJ and PA.” You may recall on Lucid Driver podcast Episode 6 Josh, where guest Josh discussed his Lucid Air Grand Touring appearing in the Netflix miniseries Black Rabbit, set in the New York night club scene starring Jude Law and Jason Bateman. Well Michael’s Air appeared as the double for Josh’s car. Josh’s car was used for the exterior shots and Michael’s car was used for the interior shots. Michael said, “I was nervous when I heard hammering and drilling when they set up the camera gear inside my car!” Are you a Lucid owner with a compelling story to share, contact me at LucidDriverPodcast@gmail.com We'd love to hear from EV/Automotive enthusiasts with stories relevant to Lucid fans at LucidDriverPodcast@gmail.com Like my Lucid Driver podcast Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61575927028097 Check out my world-leading podcast about ocean cruising, The Joy of Cruising Podcast https://www.thejoyofcruisingpodcast.com/

Eric Jackson, 2025 Lucid Air Grand Touring; 2026 Lucid Gravity Grand Touring

Send us Fan Mail Hello, Lucid fans! I am delighted to welcome Eric Jackson as my guest on this week’s Lucid Driver podcast. Eric and his wife are retired and living in Estero, Florida. Eric told me, “Following a fulfilling career as a studio musician in Los Angeles, I embarked on a new chapter at the age of 40 by pursuing an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering. This transition from my professional focus on efficiency to a personal passion for sustainability and energy independence has been fulfilling. Today, my home and vehicles are powered entirely by a self-sustained energy source, harnessing the power of solar energy, heat pumps, and advanced battery storage. While I once dedicated decades to studying molecular bonds, instead of filling my tank with gasoline, I fill it with gallons of light from the sun. As a committed environmentalist, I take pride in living a life that aligns with the future of clean energy. I was interested in electric vehicles back in 2010 when I heard about Tesla. I purchased my first Tesla in 2013 and my second one in 2017. In 2025, I traded my Tesla in for a 2025 Lucid Grand Touring Air. I loved this car. I loved the range, the safety features, and the breathtaking acceleration. I decided to purchase a Gravity for a number of reasons. My air lease is over in September. We plan to do a lot of traveling from Estero to Austin, Texas, to see our son, daughter-in-law, and 1-year-old grandson. We love the flexibility of the charging, enormous storage, and more safety features. Despite lacking the acceleration of the air, the Gravity remains an impressive vehicle.” Are you a Lucid owner with a compelling story to share, contact me at LucidDriverPodcast@gmail.com We'd love to hear from EV/Automotive enthusiasts with stories relevant to Lucid fans at LucidDriverPodcast@gmail.com Like my Lucid Driver podcast Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61575927028097 Check out my world-leading podcast about ocean cruising, The Joy of Cruising Podcast https://www.thejoyofcruisingpodcast.com/

Cole Attisha, Staff Writer, Autoblog, I Drove the 2026 Lucid Gravity Grand Touring at Mudfest…

Send us Fan Mail Hello, Lucid fans! I am delighted to welcome Cole Attisha as my guest on this week’s Lucid Driver podcast. Cole is Staff Writer at Autoblog. I saw an article with videos featuring my next car, a Lucid Gravity Grand Touring—as you know I drive a Lucid Air Touring right now. The article, “I Drove the 2026 Lucid Gravity Grand Touring at Mudfest: Here’s My Honest On- And Off -Road Review.” The article was great, not just well done but it reinforced my decision, or should I say aspiration. I thought to myself that the author would be a great guest for Lucid Driver podcast, and I appreciate Colefor agreeing to come on. “Cole’s passion for automobiles spans every corner of the industry, from vintage Italian roadsters and “delightfully weird” family haulers to the latest quirky EVs. His enthusiasm isn’t limited to dream cars or nostalgia; having worked in sales for brands including Hyundai, Mazda, and Mercedes-Benz, Cole brings seasoned industry experience to his writing. That background provides a grounded understanding of how cars are bought, sold, and actually lived with, not just how they perform on a spec sheet. Blending curiosity, humor, and firsthand knowledge, Cole approaches every vehicle through the lens of both an enthusiast and a consumer, keeping a sharp eye on what truly matters to drivers today.” Are you a Lucid owner with a compelling story to share, contact me at LucidDriverPodcast@gmail.com We'd love to hear from EV/Automotive enthusiasts with stories relevant to Lucid fans at LucidDriverPodcast@gmail.com Like my Lucid Driver podcast Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61575927028097 Check out my world-leading podcast about ocean cruising, The Joy of Cruising Podcast https://www.thejoyofcruisingpodcast.com/

    Julian Montgomery, Julian’s EV Journey-Encore

Send us Fan Mail From a year ago, only my 2nd guest ever on Lucid Driver podcast. Enjoy and contact me to tell your Lucid story! Hello, Lucid fans! This is Paul. I am delighted to welcome Julian Montgomery as my guest on this week’s Lucid Driver podcast. I am so glad I caught up with Julian. You see in the process of researching my Lucid purchase, I suspect that I have watched virtually every Lucid video on YouTube—many of them multiple times! Such was the case with Julian’s content on his channel Julian’s EV Journey. There was something about Julian and his content that spoke to me. Maybe because we share a passion for similar genres of music, although Julian is a professional Composer, Synthesist, and Sound Designer for Film, Television, Video Games and other visual media and well, I…am not. There was even an episode where Julian’s wife sat in the Lucid with him and their interaction about the car felt familiar. So, when I decided that I would launch—pun intended—this podcast featuring Lucid owners, I knew I would reach out to Julian, and I am so glad he agreed to come on the show. Julian hasn’t updated his Lucid channel in a while, but I would urge prospective purchasers to check it out—it was instrumental for me. From Julian’s EV Journey: This channel is used by Julian Montgomery to follow my EV journey. I reserved my first EV which is a Lucid Air Touring in April 2022 and took delivery in March 2023. Since I’ve started diving into the world of EVs I’ve become quite the EV enthusiast. So, as I explore EVs and ultimately drive an EV I will post content aimed at helping others like me learn about EVs specifically focusing on my EV, the Lucid Air Touring. Are you a Lucid owner with a compelling story to share, contact me at LucidDriverPodcast@gmail.com We'd love to hear from EV/Automotive enthusiasts with stories relevant to Lucid fans at LucidDriverPodcast@gmail.com Like my Lucid Driver podcast Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61575927028097 Check out my world-leading podcast about ocean cruising, The Joy of Cruising Podcast https://www.thejoyofcruisingpodcast.com/

Rubin Ervin, TV Personality, Air Touring Owner, All Around Fun Guy-Encore

Send us Fan Mail Hello, Lucid fans! I am delighted to welcome Rubin Ervin as my guest on this week’s Lucid Driver podcast. All Lucid Airs are absolutely beautiful. I’m biased of course but I think it is the prettiest sedan out there. Other than colors, glass versus aluminum roof and wheels, there is little to distinguish one from another. Just a couple of weeks ago we had on the owner of a Lucid Air Sapphire. To most people eyes a Sapphire it looks very much like mine except for the pretty Sapphire Blue color. The Sapphire is $250,000 and mine is much less than half that. Nevertheless, the similarity between Lucid Air models didn’t stop Rubin from doing his best to make his Lucid especially eye-popping and not just on the exterior. He told me, “Shortly after its delivery, I customized the wheels, wrapped the exterior, and installed subwoofers. It is now very much a dream car to me.” I told Rubin, my wife doesn’t know it yet, but I am getting his rims for my car! RUBIN ERVIN is the short guy with the big voice! He doubles as the Announcer and the Warm-up guy for the #1 game show in the country, Family Feud. Heath Cox, 2022 Lucid Air Grand Touring; 2025 Gravity Dream Edition; Creator, LucidTracker

Send us Fan Mail Hello, Lucid fans! I am delighted to welcome Heath Cox as my guest on this week’s Lucid Driver podcast. Heath is an early adopter of a couple of Lucid Motors vehicles, one of the purchasers of the inaugural 2022 Lucid Air Grand Touring, and then last year picking up the Gravity Dream Edition. Wow, Heath is a role model before we even get a chance to chat! Heath told me, “I've been a Lucid owner since March 2022, starting with an Air Grand Touring as an early adopter; I made the jump to a Gravity Dream Edition in June 2025, again jumping in early on a brand-new platform. Out of that ownership experience, I built LucidTracker (https://lucidtracker.app), a free community platform built by an owner, for owners. The free tier is really about bringing Lucid owners together, you can track OTA software rollouts, participate in community leaderboards, and submit software bugs that others can upvote if they're seeing the same thing, which helps surface what's actually impacting the community. Owners who opt in can securely sync their vehicle data from Lucid to share across the community (anonymously if they prefer) and get a high-level view of their own charging sessions and vehicle status. I'm also getting ready to launch LucidTracker+, a paid tier for owners who want the deep-dive stuff, full trip history with routes and efficiency tracking, detailed charge session analytics, live GPS streaming, and faster sync intervals. I'd can certainty talk about what it's been like being an early adopter on two different Lucid platforms and how that journey led me to build something for the broader Lucid community.” Are you a Lucid owner with a compelling story to share, contact me at LucidDriverPodcast@gmail.com We'd love to hear from EV/Automotive enthusiasts with stories relevant to Lucid fans at LucidDriverPodcast@gmail.com Like my Lucid Driver podcast Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61575927028097 Check out my world-leading podcast about ocean cruising, The Joy of Cruising Podcast https://www.thejoyofcruisingpodcast.com/

Blaine Mathieu, My Journey with Lucid Motors & a 2025 Lucid Air Grand Touring EV-Encore

Send us Fan Mail Hello, Lucid fans! One year ago, I hosted my first guest on Lucid Driver! To celebrate the anniversary of this milestone, here is an encore of that episode. Thank Blaine for being the first. This is Paul. I am delighted to welcome Blaine Mathieu. I am honored a tech CEO who happens to be the owner of one of the world’s beautiful vehicles agreed to be my guest on only the second episode of Lucid Driver. From Blaine’s Blog: “Let's get something straight: I am not a professional car reviewer. (If you are looking for that, check out Dan Neil at the WSJ - he's amazing.) I am not even an amateur car reviewer - I have never published a word about cars in my life. What I am is the CEO of a Silicon Valley startup that loves vehicles. My wife is the Head of Product at a different company. Together we have owned every manner of car over the last 20 years including a Nissan 370Z convertible, a 1958 Triumph TR3A (pictured here on the website), a huge Buick Enclave, a plug-in Toyota Prius Prime, a bright green Range Rover Evoque 2-door SUV, and a bunch of things in between. The 2025 Lucid Air Grand Touring is our first fully-electric car, and I thought it would be fun to share our real-world experiences and impressions over the next few years. Enjoy!” Are you a Lucid owner with a compelling story to share, contact me at LucidDriverPodcast@gmail.com We'd love to hear from EV/Automotive enthusiasts with stories relevant to Lucid fans at LucidDriverPodcast@gmail.com Like my Lucid Driver podcast Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61575927028097 Check out my world-leading podcast about ocean cruising, The Joy of Cruising Podcast https://www.thejoyofcruisingpodcast.com/

Lawrence Richardson, 2025 Lucid Air Grand Touring

Send us Fan Mail Hello, Lucid fans! I am delighted to welcome Lawrence Richardson as my guest on this week’s Lucid Driver podcast. Lawrence is a recent purchaser of a 2025 Lucid Air Grand Touring. Lawrence told me, “I am retired after having worked for thirty something years with a Fortune 500 mining/manufacturing aluminum company. I had assignments in Suriname, South America for 5 years, and Guinea, West Africa for 4 years, and various assignments in several US cities. I am currently living in Atlanta, GA. I spend my time now volunteering, golfing, and gardening/landscaping around the house. My EV experience started in 2014. Coming from a BMW 6 series, I was not in the market for another car. I had heard about Tesla, and was curious, so decided to take a test drive for the hell of it. Big mistake. Figured out a way to afford it and purchased Tesla Model S a few months later. Shortly thereafter became a 2 Tesla household. No gas vehicles or tools since 2015. Moved from Tesla to Mercedes Benz EQS 450+ (current), Nissan Leaf (very briefly), and Rivian R1T (current). Veteran EV road tripper, even before supercharger network widely available. Early member of EVHybrid Noire.” Are you a Lucid owner with a compelling story to share, contact me at LucidDriverPodcast@gmail.com We'd love to hear from EV/Automotive enthusiasts with stories relevant to Lucid fans at LucidDriverPodcast@gmail.com Like my Lucid Driver podcast Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61575927028097 Check out my world-leading podcast about ocean cruising, The Joy of Cruising Podcast https://www.thejoyofcruisingpodcast.com/

    McFarland Arts

Send us Fan Mail Hello, Lucid fans! I am delighted to welcome Alphonzo McFarland as my guest on this week’s Lucid Driver podcast. Alphonzo is the creator of McFarland Arts. Alphonzo told me, “I've always had a passion for cars. My father owned a custom 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air—a hot rod featuring small front wheels and dramatic dragster wheels in the back. Though he wasn't around often, that car left a lasting impression on me. I thought it was incredible. As a kid, I drew cars constantly, trying to capture their essence on paper. I could only manage profile views, so I sketched them everywhere: homework assignments, napkins, scraps of paper—anything I could find. Growing older, art became my true passion, but my fascination with cars never faded into the background. At thirteen, I bought my first hobby-grade RC car—a kit you build from the ground up with servos and motors—to understand how vehicles actually worked. I was hooked. I progressed to gas-powered RC cars, and as an artist, I could express myself through custom paint schemes and creative designs. Eventually, I moved into advanced electric RC cars and started racing them seriously. Throughout college, I honed my artistic skills and earned a degree in graphic design and illustration. Later, I transitioned into computer animation, which taught me to visualize objects in motion and three-dimensional space—skills that deepened my understanding of design. Today, I notice that most electric vehicles on the market lack visual imagination. They feel generic. A few months ago, I spotted a car I'd never seen before—a Lucid Air. Its styling was striking: elegant lines, thoughtful proportions, and genuine character. I researched it and became captivated. Since I was already designing AI-generated vehicles online, I decided to experiment with the Lucid platform, exploring creative variations and new possibilities within its design language. That curiosity sparked my current passion: reimagining what the Lucid line of vehicles could become.
