Good news, everyone! We have an idea of which sports network the Carolina Hurricanes will be on next season! It'll be their own! What does this mean for the team and the fans? On the Wednesday Edition of Locked On Hurricanes,  Zach begins the show by sharing his thoughts on the announcement of the Hurricanes launching their own sports network. Since the closing of the regional broadcasts, i.e., FanDuel, Bally, etc., what does it mean to focus on a more local, team-specific platform? Also, we know who will call games for the Hurricanes in 2026-27. Secondly, Zach shares his thoughts on why this new era of Hurricanes broadcasting will be better for the team and fans overall. Since the team will own and operate it all, it could mean better production and just having it be done in-house, while working in collaboration with the NHL.
