3 Carolina Hurricanes Players Seeking to Jump Point Totals in 2026-27

Heading into the 2026-27 season, which three Carolina Hurricanes players could take a jump points-wise? While the Hurricanes are seeking to defend their Stanley Cup title, who could have bigger seasons to help them in the cause? On the Monday Edition of Locked On Hurricanes,  Zach begins the show by sharing his thoughts on Jordan Martinook getting back into the 30-point-or-more range this upcoming season. In 2025-26, he had 29 points, snapping a three-season run of 30 or more points. To his credit, he played 77 games last season after dealing with injuries. If Martinook can play between 80 and 84 games, there is a good chance he could have a really good season for the Hurricanes. Secondly, Zach shares his thoughts on Eric Robinson having a bounce-back season as well in 2026-27. After playing only 67 games last season,e he finished with 12 goals and 18 points, after having 14 goals and 32 points the season before. If he can stay healthy, Robinson could get to between 30 and 32 points, while playing fourth-line minutes for the Hurricanes. Finally, Zach concludes the show by looking at K'Andre Miller in his second season with the Hurricanes. While he did have to learn the system last season, he did have eight goals and 37 points, all while playing 72 games. If he can play around 80 games in 2026-27, Miller could have a 40- to 45-point season. All of that and more, on the latest edition of Locked On Hurricanes.
