Dante Pride : God Kept Dante Hidden and It Saved Him

Episode 127 Featuring Dante Pride... In this episode of Let’s Try This Again, B. Simone sits down with gospel hip-hop artist and youth pastor Dante Pride for an honest conversation about faith, rejection, identity, marriage, and what it really means to come as you are. Dante opens up about growing up in religious culture, feeling like the black sheep of the church, and finding his own authentic relationship with Jesus—even when the people closest to him didn’t believe in his calling until he signed a record deal. He shares why being hidden was one of the greatest things God could have done for him, the reality of a difficult first year of marriage with his wife, and why he refuses to live a life of hypocrisy. This conversation is a reminder that your journey with God doesn’t have to look perfect to be real...and you don’t have to clean yourself up before you come to Him. Your Mother Hurt You... Here's How To Finally Heal

Solo Episode 125... This week on Let’s Try This Again, B. Simone is talking about MOTHER WOUNDS—and this conversation isn’t about blaming, bashing, or pointing fingers at the women who raised us. It’s about healing. B. Simone opens up about forgiving her mother and stepmother for pain she experienced in childhood, and how forgiveness unlocked so much freedom in her life. Forgiveness didn’t mean what happened was okay. It meant she decided she didn’t want to carry it anymore. Many of our mothers were raising us while still trying to figure out life themselves. Before they were our mothers, they were little girls with their own wounds, trauma, and stories. This episode is about learning how to hold two truths at once: what happened to you may have been wrong, AND you can have grace for the woman who hurt you without excusing her behavior. From forgiveness, healthy boundaries, mother wounds, and generational trauma, this conversation challenges women to heal what hurt them so they don't pass that pain to the next generation. Maybe the question isn’t just, “What did my mother do to me?” Maybe it’s, “What am I going to do with what happened to me?” ❤️‍🩹 This one gets real. Enjoy and share ! This episode starts with laughs, jokes, and pure chaos, but quickly turns into a vulnerable conversation about identity, judgment, faith, and what happens when the world puts you on a pedestal because of your gift. Darrel Walls opens up about making mistakes publicly, being judged by the Christian community, and the pressure of being expected to be perfect because his gift helps lead others to God. We unpack the difference between who you are and what you do, refusing to let your past define you, and remembering that even the people God uses are still human. This one gets real. BONUS EPISODE | Why We Protect Toxic People (Even When They Hurt Us)

LTTA TALK EPISODE 1... Welcome to the very first episode of LTTA Talk... where five women come together to have the conversations we’ve been avoiding. This week, we’re asking a hard question: Are we protecting people… or are we telling our truth? So many of us have held back our stories out of fear...fear of judgment, hurting someone’s feelings, being misunderstood, or being labeled as bitter. But what if your testimony is the very thing someone else needs to hear? In this honest and vulnerable conversation, we discuss the tension between honoring people and telling the truth, the freedom that comes from sharing your story, and why healing sometimes requires you to stop protecting the very people who hurt you. This season, we’re choosing truth over fear, healing over hiding, and freedom over silence. Welcome to LTTA Talk. The conversation starts now. Please leave a review , if this episode spoke to you!
