    Dalton, Sako & DARVO Part 2 | THE EMANCIPATION OF SAKO

    Picture this: it's 1860 in Illinois, and a mother of six named Elizabeth Packard is locked in an insane asylum. Her crime? She disagreed with her husband. Back then the law let a husband commit his wife without a jury. She spent three years inside, and when a jury finally heard her speak, it took them seven minutes to decide she was sane. Now jump almost 200 years to a divorce between two TikTokers in West Virginia. A wife goes quiet. A husband gets the microphone. A hotel, a nightclub, a "black dude," a mysterious message, and suddenly millions of people aren't asking what he did anymore. They're asking what's wrong with HER. At the end of Part One I told you to remember one word: DARVO. Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender. This is me pulling that thread all the way, admitting where I got fooled too, and showing you how a completely real photograph can be wrapped in a completely false story.     A Fake Pregnancy, a Reborn Doll, and 500 Years of the Same Lie

    Picture this: it's 1726, and a woman in a tiny English town starts giving birth to rabbits. The whole country believes her. Doctors travel to see it. The king sends his own surgeon. Now jump almost 300 years to Scotland, where a 22-year-old faked an entire pregnancy the bump, the ultrasounds, the gender reveal, the baby shower, the birth announcement with a reborn doll named Bonnie Lee. There was never a baby. But when I actually pulled the thread, this stopped being one weird little story and turned into something about grief, shame, girlhood, the internet, and why human beings have spent centuries believing women who were never pregnant at all.     Perez Hilton Is the Most Disturbing Rabbit Hole Yet | Are You Not Entertained?

    Okay so, baby, buckle up, because this one is a whole rabbit hole. Back in the 2000s, Perez Hilton practically WAS the internet. The original gossip blogger, the self-crowned queen of all media, millions of people refreshing his site every morning like it was breakfast. Then 15 years later, that same man came apart in real time on a TikTok live, in front of thousands of people, and the internet did not try to save him. It packaged him. So I went all the way down this rabbit hole to ask the question nobody in the comments is asking. Not "can you believe him," but who is getting PAID to keep the whole thing running exactly like this. Because the deeper I dug, the less this looked like one man's worst night and the more it looked like a machine. An algorithm that rewards the collapse. A crash-out economy of reaction channels eating off people's worst days. A real company that reportedly ran an experiment on 15 million real users. And a Black Mirror episode from 2011 that stopped feeling like fiction. He built the Coliseum. Then he got fed to it. He is not some monster the internet found.     Alright, Side Eye Squad… we need to talk. Dalton and Sako were the internet's favorite unlikely love story the big country husband, the South African wife, the car that broke down the dyed pond, the whistle, "we ain't worried." Millions of us fell for it. I fell for it. And then Sako quietly disappeared from the videos, Dalton posted a crying video that did 50 million views in a day, and told everybody there was something even sadder happening than his mother's terminal cancer… and then wouldn't say what it was. So I did what I do. I followed the receipts. I pulled the court record. And I broke his "explanation" video down move by move because once you learn the pattern, you cannot unsee it. This one is about DARVO, the empty spot, the money, and who controls the story when only one person is holding the camera. Nosy but nuanced, as always. We don't just ask what happened.
