The Multiple Man | When Self-Intimacy Deepens Partner Sex - with Tom

What happens when sexual satisfaction stops being something you mainly seek from another person… and becomes something you learn to cultivate within yourself? In this episode, I'm sitting down with Tom, who works particularly with men around embodiment, self-connection, and developing a more conscious relationship with their erotic energy. We're talking about his own journey when it comes to feeling fulfilled in a sexual relationship. And the way he chose to go about that was by first turning towards his own body, arousal, and relationship with his sexual energy. So this episode is filled with a very honest and real conversation about a man deepening into his own sexual world through self-pleasure, curiosity, and years of exploration. And also about how the insights and expertise that came out of that journey have gradually started to influence intimacy and partner sex as well, alongside the men's work he offers now. As usual, I'm bringing in my own touch, questions, and reflections, and occasionally a perspective from me as a woman on themes that are primarily approached from a man's experience. Together we touch on: • self-pleasure as a path rather than a technique • dependency, neediness, and filling your own cup • the pressure around erections and performance • slowing down and listening to the body • communicating desires and assumptions • different kinds of sexual needs (Erotic Blueprints) • partner sex and meeting each other without performance • masculine conditioning and learning to receive • intimacy, tenderness, and co-creating pleasure I really enjoyed this conversation with Tom, and I hope you do too. ~ Connect with Tom and his work (Dutch) 🌿 De Meervoudige Man https://meervoudigeman.be/ 🌿 Free Erotic Blueprint Test https://meervoudigeman.be/blauwdrukken/ 🌿 Free Mini-Course https://meervoudigeman.be/#minicursus More from Intimate Breath 🌿 Website www.intimate-breath.com 🌿 Instagram & Facebook @intimatebreath 🌿 The next Liberation Journey starts in January 2027 in Belgium, and a Swedish one is in the making. I Wanted To Be The Safe Man - with Sébastien

Sébastien has been part of my workshops for years, and over time also became one of my assistants. In this conversation, he shares very openly about the journey from numbness, over-functioning, and “dead bedroom” dynamics… towards something much more honest and alive. We talk about trying to be good, safe, considerate; and how easy it is to slowly disappear a bit in the process. About shame. Desire. Erections. Messy parts. People-pleasing. And the strange relief that can come when you stop trying to only be the “good” version of yourself. There’s a lot of humanity in this episode. I really enjoyed how unpolished, self-aware, and real Sebastien allowed himself to be throughout the conversation. His inspiring to bring all our messy parts with us! . 🔗 Stay Connected: To follow Sébastien's journey, find his website: http://demiddenweg.be/; or follow him on socials: @demiddenweg You can follow my journey and explore more about intimacy and sexuality at www.intimate-breath.com or on Instagram and Facebook: @intimatebreath. Letting Life Do You (and… who’s your daddy)

On control, trust, and staying in relationship What if life isn’t something to control… but something you’re in relationship with? In this solo episode, I explore what it means to let life do you. Not just in the moments that feel good, but also when things are messy, uncomfortable, or out of your control. We move beyond sensual awareness and into something deeper: How do you stay in contact with yourself when life doesn’t feel like a choice? I weave together perspectives from embodiment, conscious relating, and kink, including the idea of consensual non-consent, to explore how we relate to intensity, trust, and the unknown. It is not about bypassing, forcing positivity, or enjoying suffering. It’s about staying present, taking responsibility where you can, and experimenting with trust where you can’t. In this episode, I touch on: – staying in relationship with life (instead of fixing or resisting)– intensity and edges– the patterns we unconsciously return to– trust, surrender, and the question: can I stay open even when I don’t understand?– translating relational and sexual agreements into how we move through life You’ll hear a different take on surrender. Not as something passive, but something deeply relational. . 🔗 Stay Connected: You can follow my journey and explore more about intimacy and sexuality at www.intimate-breath.com or on Instagram and Facebook: @intimatebreath. Hierarchy with Incense - When ‘Conscious’ Spaces Don’t Feel Safe

What happens when 'conscious' or spiritual language becomes a shield? In this solo episode, I explore a subtle dynamic I’ve seen again and again in intimacy-oriented, embodiment, and spiritual communities: what I call spiritual hierarchy. It's the moment when intuition, inner experience, or emotional fluency starts being used to override someone else’s reality. This episode is for those who are inside these spaces… and also for those who have stayed away from them, stepped out, or felt disappointed - precisely because something didn’t feel right, even when the language sounded beautiful. We talk about how empathic people can easily end up doubting themselves in these environments, how vulnerability can be met with care or quietly turned into a tool for power, and why inner experience is meaningful… but not automatically authority. This is not about cynicism or diagnosing others. It’s about discernment. It’s about mutuality. And it’s about staying connected to your own signals, especially in spaces that speak the language of healing. I also share parts of my own journey from naive compassion to wiser empathy: empathy with boundaries, with choice, and with self-trust. If you’ve ever felt confused after a “conscious” conversation, or wondered whether your discomfort was actually intelligence… this one is for you. . 🔗 Stay Connected: You can follow my journey and explore more about intimacy and sexuality at www.intimate-breath.com or on Instagram and Facebook: @intimatebreath. 📢 We’d Love to Hear from you! Getting Comfortable with the Yes – with Kris

Kris said he wasn’t even in chapter one yet — still writing the prologue. He hadn’t had a sexual relationship before joining the Liberation Journey. Intimacy felt scary. But something in him still said yes. This conversation is about what that opened in him — and what it didn’t. It’s not about “finally arriving” or having it all figured out. It’s about the quiet, ongoing work of letting yourself want more, even when it feels too late or too far away. We speak about fear, loneliness, longing, and what happens when you dare to be seen just a little bit more than before. About the tension between protecting yourself and saying Yes to life. At its core, this is an episode about readiness — and how sometimes, you’re never truly ready, but you show up anyway. . 🔗 Stay Connected: You can follow my journey and explore more about intimacy and sexuality at www.intimate-breath.com or on Instagram and Facebook: @intimatebreath. Beyond We vs. Them: How We Polarize Ourselves and Others

In a world addicted to sides, speed, and certainty, what happens when we slow down and get intimate with the discomfort instead? In this episode, I explore how we-versus-them dynamics — from COVID debates to political leaders, from war to gender and identity — mirror the same parts of ourselves we often reject. With a trauma-informed, body-led lens, I invite you to move beyond dehumanization and into deeper presence, where complexity and curiosity can coexist. This isn’t about agreeing. It’s about staying human. It’s about feeling your feet on the ground when the world feels divided. It’s about relating — even when it’s hard. If you’ve ever longed for a culture that chooses connection over polarization, and presence over performance — this one’s for you. Inside this episode: - How we internalize ‘us vs. them’ thinking — and how to interrupt it - Why nervous system awareness matters in political and relational conflict - What embodiment has to do with culture change - How to hold nuance without collapsing into silence or blame - A call to stay relational — even in disagreement Let this episode be a breath. A reckoning. A return. . 🔗 Stay Connected: You can follow my journey and explore more about intimacy and sexuality at www.intimate-breath.com or on Instagram and Facebook: @intimatebreath. 📢 We’d Love to Hear from You! Not Just Pleasure - Minne on Ethical Sxx Work

What if healing could be playful? What if we stopped whispering about sexuality and started talking — honestly — about power, pleasure, and shame? In this episode, I sit down with Minne Marlo — coach, educator, and founder of 'MeerDanSeks' — for a deep and disarming conversation about conscious sex work, power dynamics, and how we meet our most intimate edges with care. This is a conversation full of nuance and depth, where we explore the world of intentional play: where taboo can become a doorway to healing, and where fantasy isn’t just entertainment, but often a reflection of something real, tender, or long-hidden. This episode isn’t here to promote anything — it’s here to challenge your assumptions and open a few doors. To perspectives, to permission, and to the idea that intimacy and care can be part of real, structured support. Note: This podcast is for discussion and reflection purposes only. The Rejection Loop: What’s Really Going On (and How to Step Out)

You keep showing up. You want to connect. But somehow, it keeps happening: you’re the one left out. Not chosen. Not seen. Not touched. Again. In this solo episode, I dive into one of the hardest patterns I witness in group spaces — and know personally: the rejection loop. A painful cycle that has nothing to do with how attractive, interesting, or "good" you are — and everything to do with what your body has learned to expect. If you've ever told yourself _“maybe I’m just not lovable”_ — or shaped your whole way of being around _trying not to be rejected_ — this one's for you. We'll talk about: - What rejection has to do with shame and survival fear - How trauma, attachment, and the nervous system silently broadcast your past - The many sneaky ways the rejection loop expresses itself (you’ll likely recognize yourself) - And: what to do if you’re tired of trying to be “enough” just to be included I’m sharing this not just as someone who’s studied this for years — but as someone who’s lived it. There’s a way through. And it doesn’t start with fixing your appearance, your energy, or your social skills. It starts with no longer believing that being rejected means there’s something wrong with you. Listen in. Let's befriend it. Let’s untangle the loop — together. . 🔗 Stay Connected: You can follow my journey and explore more about intimacy and sexuality at www.intimate-breath.com or on Instagram and Facebook: @intimatebreath. 📢 We’d Love to Hear from You! Lessons from an Elder: David Cates on Slowness, Sexuality, and Death

What do sex and death have in common? According to David Cates, quite a lot. In this episode, we dive into the deep end—exploring how slowing down changes everything, from intimacy to the tender process of dying. David, a lifelong seeker and teacher of embodiment, shares his thoughts on what it means to truly let go. David Cates is known for his pioneering work in intimacy, embodied connection, and somatic practices like Belly2Belly. With decades of experience, he’s been a guide for many seeking deeper presence, richer relationships, and a more grounded approach to love and sexuality. Now in his 70s, he embraces his role as an elder, reflecting on the cycles of life, the wisdom of slowing down, and the opportunities for growth in our most vulnerable moments. In this conversation we explore the raw parallels between orgasm and death, the liberation of dropping masks, and the surprising gifts that loss can bring. David also shares how his curiosity about the dying process has shaped his perspective on living fully and loving deeply. This episode is an invitation to pause, reflect, and reconnect—with yourself, others, and the beauty of life’s fleeting moments. 20 Years Together, Now Open: A Couple’s Real Talk

This time, I’m sitting down with Veronica and Ernesto, a vibrant couple who bring their rich, tangled personal story to the table. Hailing from Mexico, they share what it’s been like to carve out a life in Sweden—grappling with stark cultural differences, building lasting friendships, and finding connection in a new land, even when it’s felt shaky. With over 20 years since they started dating and 15 years of marriage behind them, they open up about a recent twist: choosing to explore an open relationship. In a grounded, real, and sometimes playful way, they unpack the ups and downs of shifting roles—stepping into the space of a ‘third’ rather than the ‘only,’ and noticing how familiar patterns still creep in, even beyond just the two of them. What makes their perspective so compelling? They’ve been part of my Liberation Journey, joining me in spaces like the Desire Playground, where vulnerability and depth have shown them they’re not alone in their messy experiences. Ernesto reflects on how witnessing others bring their desires forward has hit him hard, while Veronica pinpoints what set this path apart: the intentional, co-created culture we built over six months as a group. They offer a raw, insightful look at love, identity, and belonging—across borders and within relationships, flaws and all. . "Can I flirt with you?" - Reid on ethical sluttiness and dating your species

In this playful episode, I sit down with Reid Mihalko, a sex and relationship coach. As we flirt and giggle our way through some deeply enriching discussions, we touch on the pressing need for ingrained consent, especially for those in privileged positions. Reid offers a fresh perspective on how society grapples with mistakes, referring to his own past restorative justice process. Ever heard of "dating your species"? It's Reid's teaching about recognizing who you truly are in the vast spectrum of relationships and connecting with those who genuinely match you in it. Whether you're an adventurous monogamist dreaming of sailing escapades or a queer individual embracing promiscuity, Reid emphasizes the importance of clarity in choosing partners. We dive deep into the world of open relating and the art of ethical sluttiness, exploring how to leave every encounter, be it a person or place, better than you found it. Reid's sex-positive narratives might just catch you off-guard, you are warned! Join us for this rollercoaster of an episode – it's flirty, vulnerable, educational, and sure to make you rethink some relationship tenets. If there's one thing I hope for, it's that you'll find as much value in listening as we did in sharing our crush-laden conversation.
