Vanakkam/ Namaste/Hello Everyone!Happy new year! We are back with another episode of #insidethemindsofgreatyogis. In this episode, We spoke with Myra Khanna on the 85th episode and loved hearing her perspective on yoga! About Myra: Myra Khanna is a student and educator of yoga. Having started her journey of movement as a Kathak dancer, she discovered SCUBA diving in 2015 and yoga in 2018. What began as a physically centric quest turned into a deeper inquiry. Under the guidance of her teachers, myra has and continues to explore the potential of the human body to strengthen, heal and strive for balance. With some experience in Expressive Arts Therapy, myra is fascinated by the communication between the body and the mind. Their continuous dialogue with one another and how they manifest through each other. Myra urges her students to lean into the language of their body through sensations, experiences and how their breath is at that very moment - this brings one closer to themselves and is far more powerful than external instructions. Myra is also studying and working in the space of women’s hormonal and menstrual health. Having experienced imbalances herself, she hopes to educate and bring awareness amongst women dealing with their own challenges. A big thank you to Myra for joining us in our 85th episode of #insidethemindsofgreatyogis and for giving us her valuable time. We hope we can do this again! Hear Myra's perspective on yoga and her inspiring journey!
