It's been six months since the abduction of Savannah Guthrie's mom, and today authorities in Arizona released two ransom notes sent to a Tucson TV station just days after the kidnapping. They're hoping that someone, somewhere will recognize something in the way they're phrased that will create a break in the case. And a dramatic day at the trial of the mom accused of strangling her three children to death. The jury was taken today on a grim tour of the house where the heartbreaking events took place, but the accused mom, Lindsay Clancy, chose not to go back to the “house of horrors.” Lindsay Clancy's defense is that she was suffering from postpartum psychosis. Plus, he was both judge and defendant in a case where the verdict was easy to decide. Steven Fabian spoke with the judge who knew all the evidence firsthand and declared, “I find me guilty.” And it's the most popular drink of the summer: dirty soda. That's a regular sugary soda flavored with syrup and cream, but be careful, nutritionists say it's not the healthiest choice. Steven Fabian checked them out.

Jared Leto, famous for his terrifying performance as the Joker, is now facing serious allegations from four women accusing him of sexual misconduct. But as Steven Fabian reports, the Oscar winner is hitting back calling the allegations “absolutely and categorically false.” Finally, a 17-year-old was seriously injured trying to jump off a cliff in San Diego into the ocean. Thankfully, he was rescued. Officials say jumping at that spot is incredibly dangerous and illegal, but teens keep jumping. Jim Moret has more, and the footage is intense.

Today the brothers appeared in federal court, fighting extradition back to the U.K., where they face charges including sex trafficking and rape. Ann Mercogliano reports. Their attorney has called the charges “filth and slander. And the grandfather who was flung in the air by a charging bison is speaking out from his hospital bed, and he's still in shock about how fast the bison moved as it made him its target.

For the first time, we're seeing the suspect police say caused a big scare at the Today Show by rushing past security and charging at one of the co-hosts. Ann Mercogliano reports this is not his first run-in with the law. The suspect is being held on 10 thousand dollars bond. He has pleaded not guilty. And it's been a manhunt for two decades for a doctor accused of sexually assaulting his date on board his yacht. He vanished just before his case went to the jury 21 years ago. Now he's back in custody after U.S. Marshals found him, where else, but on a yacht. In addition to the sexual assault conviction, Fischer is expected to face charges related to unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. Plus, World Cup fans are gearing up for what's expected to be quite the star-studded finale on Sunday. But along with security and crowd control, there's another worry: the 80,000 spectators breathing in lingering smoke from the Canadian wildfires. And jaws dropped across the country earlier this week after a grandfather was tossed into the air by a raging bison. For one woman, it brought back horrible memories. Her father, a popular TV reporter, was killed when a bison went on the attack.

Known for their wild motivational videos, they are now appearing in a much different kind of footage: police bodycam video. As Brooke Anderson reports, both principals were pulled over and arrested for DUI. Both principals have pleaded not guilty, each released on $2,000 bond. The academy where they work tells us they have taken appropriate administration action without specifying exactly what that is. And the search is suspended. Divers are still unable to reach the boat that sank in San Francisco Bay to find three people still missing. The family was out on choppy waters spreading a loved one's ashes. Now Jim Moret boards a boat, looking for clues to what went wrong.
