Courtney Block: Inside the World's Haunted Libraries

Hi friends! This week, we have the wonderful Courtney Block back on to discuss her latest book Inside the World’s Haunted Libraries. Holy smokes, I absolutely love this book. Without getting too spoiler-y, Courtney shares a few of her favorite stories, and we also get deep into hauntlogy, the concept of the “third place”, and other reasons why libraires are an attractor to the strange and unusual. Courtney is a gem, and I highly recommend this book. So good! Enjoy! Delainy Bowers: Monster Among Us Junior/Folklore In Real Time

This week, the brilliant Delainy Bowers is back on the show to talk to us about her podcast Monsters Among Us Junior! This is such a fun show, and Delainy is the perfect host for such an endeavor. I also take the opportunity to ask Delainy (since she's a professional folklorist) about how folklore unfolds in real time. We also get into some of the socio-cultural highlights of what folklore can represent. Such a fun conversation. I hope you all enjoy it! Christopher Graybill and Adam Gorightly (sort of): Saucers, Spooks and Kooks: The Movie

Howdy there - This week my guests are Christopher Graybill and Adam Gorightly! They join the show to discuss their fantastic new documentary, based off Gorightly's book. You guys, I LOVED this film. I've gushed about Adam's book a lot on the show, and this film is every bit as good. Without spoiling too much, this film delves in the misinformation/disinformation in the UFO scene from the early 80's into the present. Not only is this movie a blast, it's also very important if you care at all about the topic of UFOs. As I mention up top, Adam's internet connection quit on him, so the majority of this episode is just Christopher...which turned out to be a great opportunity to hear all of this from the filmmaker's perspective. Also, such a great guy. Enjoy!
