78 | Reclaiming Our Identity (Part 13): Find Out What God Driving Out of Your Life Before the Increase

Sometimes we spend all our energy begging God to change the circumstances around us, completely missing the fact that He is trying to transform something within us. In part 13 of Reclaiming Our Identity series, we are diving back into Exodus 33 to look at the inhabitants God promised to drive out of Israel's territory. But as I sat with this scripture, a game-changing question hit me: What if these inhabitants aren't just historical enemies? What if they reveal the invisible mindsets squatting on the territory of our own hearts, keeping us from the abundant life promised to us? That question forced me to look under the hood of my own life, especially my years of wrestling with a deep-rooted poverty mindset. I used to think my financial struggles were just a math problem, a budgeting problem, or and not having enough. But God exposed a web of fear, scarcity, and survival defaults that were quietly hijacking my identity and my bank account. Maybe you are living that exact same story right now. You might be calling your fear "wisdom," your micromanagement "responsibility," or your survival habits "just the way life is." But the Father is inviting you today, to look at those spaces with Him today. This isn't about shaming you or listing your flaws; it’s about clearing out the baggage that doesn't align with His truth so you can finally step into your actual birthright as His daughter. Come sit with this one slowly, and ask the Father what He may be inviting you to see. 4 Key Takeaways Whatever has occupied territory does not define your identity. Fear, scarcity, rejection, control, and survival may have shaped parts of your story, but they do not get to tell you who you are. Your identity begins with what God says about you. Sometimes the deeper issue isn't the circumstance; it's the belief underneath it. God may use an ordinary struggle, a financial situation, a decision, or a season of waiting to reveal something deeper about the way you've learned to see yourself and Him. Reclaiming your identity means allowing the Father to remove what no longer agrees with His truth. There is no shame in discovering something God wants to change. The Father who reveals what has been occupying territory is also the Father who restores what belongs there. You don't have to rebuild your life from the identity that helped you survive. You can begin again from your identity in Christ, learning to move from survival toward stewardship, scarcity toward trust, fear toward faith, and old agreements toward truth. 77 | Reclaiming Our Identity (Part 12): Don't Lose Yourself On the Way to the Promise

Have you ever returned to a familiar passage of Scripture only to realize the Father was waiting to show you something you'd never seen before? That's exactly what happened to me in Exodus 33. I went back to understand the people God promised to drive out before Israel entered the Promised Land. Instead, the Holy Spirit gently revealed something much deeper, my own view of the Father's heart. For years, I had focused on Israel's rebellion. This time, I saw God's faithfulness. I watched Moses respond to God's promise in a way that challenged me. While the people still had a land flowing with milk and honey ahead of them, Moses wasn't satisfied with the promise if God's presence wasn't going with them. Have I ever become so focused on what I'm believing God for that I've stopped pursuing the One who made the promise? This episode is an invitation to slow down, return to the Father's heart, and remember what truly distinguishes His sons and daughters. It's not what we accomplish, what we possess, or even the promises we're waiting to see fulfilled. It's His presence. As you listen, I pray you'll hear the Father's invitation to lay down striving, rediscover the beauty of simply walking with Him, and reclaim another piece of your identity as His beloved daughter. Four Key Takeaways 1. God's presence is what distinguishes His people. Our identity has never been rooted in what we achieve or receive. Like Moses, we're invited to value the Father's presence above every promise He gives. 2. The Father is more interested in forming us than simply moving us forward. Sometimes the greatest work God is doing isn't changing our circumstances it's transforming our hearts so we can know Him more deeply and reflect Him more faithfully. 3. Identity is reclaimed when we see the Father's heart clearly. The more we understand His faithfulness, mercy, and holiness, the less we'll define ourselves by performance, striving, or fear. We begin living as daughters who are deeply loved. 4. Every promise is an invitation into deeper relationship. God's gifts are beautiful, but they were never meant to replace the Giver. When our hearts remain anchored in His presence, we can receive His promises without losing ourselves in them. 76 | Reclaiming Our Identity (Part 11): Healing the Hidden Places of the Heart Around Relationships

Have you ever wondered why certain memories, relationships, or seasons from your past suddenly come back to mind? For years, I assumed God was reminding me of what other people had done. But during one Morning Stillness, the Father revealed something I never expected—He wasn't asking me to revisit my past. He was inviting me to let Him heal what my past had left behind. Welcome back to our Reclaiming Our Identity series—a journey of returning to the truth of who God says we are. In this episode, I share a personal testimony about old friendships, hidden heart patterns, and the surprising way God prepares us for the future by first transforming us from the inside out. If you've been asking God for healthier relationships, greater freedom, or a deeper walk with Him, this conversation may help you recognize what He's doing beneath the surface. 🔑4 Key Takeaways: Relationships often reveal what we believe about ourselves—but they were never meant to define who we are. The Father doesn't expose unhealthy patterns to shame us; He reveals them so He can restore us to our true identity in Christ. Freedom begins when we stop adapting for acceptance and learn to abide confidently as daughters of God. Transformation isn't found in striving to become someone new, but in returning daily to the truth of who God says we already are. 👍Continue the Journey: If you're longing for a community of women who are learning to return to the Father together, I'd love to welcome you into the Get Realigned With Idina Email Community for Daughters. https://www.getrealignedwithidina.com/DFL 📰August Newsletter: August Newsletter-The Invitation If you're ready to move beyond recognition into lasting transformation, The Realignment Journey™ will walk with you through the same identity-first process God used to realign every area of my own life. 75 | Reclaiming Our Identity (Part 10): How to Position Your Heart to See What the Father Is Doing

What if the Father isn't waiting for you to pray harder... but to become still enough to see what He's already doing? In this episode, I share a deeply personal Morning Stillness encounter that transformed the way I pray, surrender, and respond as a daughter of God. What began as a morning filled with concerns about my children became an invitation to climb the watchtower, release control, and discover the peace that comes from aligning her heart with the Father's heart. Together, we'll explore how Jesus modeled this same posture of dependence, why surrender is rooted in relationship rather than obligation, and how Morning Stillness has become more than a daily rhythm. It has become a way of living from identity instead of anxiety. If you've been carrying the weight of trying to fix people, control outcomes, or understand God's will, this conversation is an invitation to lay those burdens down and learn to see what the Father is already doing. Four Key Takeaways Position Before Perspective Before God gives direction, He often invites us to take our position before Him. Like Habakkuk on the watchtower, we learn to quiet our hearts and watch for what the Father is doing before responding. Peace Comes When We Release Control Sometimes what we call "concern" is actually carrying responsibility that belongs to God. As daughters, we're invited to release control over people and outcomes and trust the Father with what only He can govern. Morning Stillness Is About Relationship, Not Routine The goal isn't to complete another spiritual checklist. Morning Stillness is an invitation to let the Holy Spirit search our hearts, renew our minds, and align our desires with the Father's heart before we begin our day. A Daughter Lives From Communion, Not Striving Jesus modeled a life of complete dependence on the Father. As we spend time in His presence, our hearts are transformed, our minds are renewed, and His desires gradually become our own. 74 | Reclaiming Our Identity (Part 9): How to Depend on God in Every Area of Your Life

There comes a moment when you realize you've been trying to carry life in your own strength. Where independence has become so familiar that dependence feels almost unnatural. In this episode, I share a deeply personal reflection from a morning when the Holy Spirit reminded me that what I needed most wasn't more discipline or another strategy. I needed a fresh filling of His presence. Together, we revisit one of my favorite passages in Scripture, Exodus 33, where Moses refused to move forward without God. His prayer wasn't simply about direction. It was about relationship. Moses understood something every daughter of God must eventually discover: God's presence isn't optional. It's everything. If you've been feeling spiritually weary, emotionally drained, or like you've been trying to push through life in your own strength, I believe this conversation will gently call you back to the place where peace begins... total dependence on the Father. Scripture Mentioned Exodus 33 "If Your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here." 🔑 Four Key Takeaways 1. Total dependence is not weakness. It's the posture of a daughter. The Kingdom was never designed to be built through self-sufficiency. Every assignment begins with recognizing our need for the Father's presence. 2. God's presence is greater than His provision. Moses wasn't satisfied with an angel going before him. He wanted God Himself. True intimacy values the Giver more than the gifts. 3. Every season requires fresh oil. Yesterday's strength cannot sustain today's assignment. God continually invites us to receive a fresh filling of His Holy Spirit as we walk with Him. 4. Returning is always available. Whether you've drifted, grown tired, or simply found yourself relying on your own strength again, the Father never shames your return. He welcomes it. 🤝Continue the Journey If today's conversation helped you recognize how independence may have quietly shaped the way you live, work, or relate to God, you don't have to walk through that discovery alone. If you're looking for greater clarity about the identity patterns influencing your thoughts and responses, begin with the Kingdom Identity Assessment™. https://www.getrealignedwithidina.com/KIA And if you're ready to move beyond awareness into a daily lifestyle of walking with God from identity instead of striving, The Realignment Journey™ will guide you through the same process God used to transform my own life. https://www.getrealignedwithidina.com/KIA/journey Because realignment doesn't begin with doing more. 73 | Reclaiming Our Identity (Part 8): How to Reclaim Our Identity as a Kingdom Businesswoman

Have you ever wondered why Jesus walked away from the crowds when His ministry was growing? In this episode of our Reclaiming Our Identity series, we're looking at Luke 5:16 through a different lens. What began as a simple Bible reading became an invitation to rethink the way we build, lead, and steward what God has entrusted to us. As I sat with one verse, the Holy Spirit revealed that this wasn't just a lesson about prayer. It was about identity. Before Jesus responded to the growing demands around Him, He withdrew to spend time with the Father. That one observation challenged the way I think about business, productivity, and success. Together, we'll explore what it means to reclaim our identity as Kingdom businesswomen by following Jesus' example. We'll talk about the first voice that shapes our day, why intimacy with the Father must come before opportunity, and how hidden seasons often become God's preparation for greater stewardship. Whether you're building a business, leading a ministry, raising a family, or faithfully stewarding the life God has entrusted to you, this conversation will encourage you to build from your identity as a daughter rather than from the pressure of performance. 🔐4 Key Takeaways: 1. A Kingdom businesswoman builds from her identity as a daughter. Before you are a businesswoman, leader, mother, or ministry leader, you are first a daughter of God. Everything you build is meant to flow from that relationship with the Father. 2. The Father's voice should govern every decision you make. Jesus met with the Father before He met with the crowds. The first voice you agree with becomes the lens through which you'll interpret every opportunity, responsibility, and decision that follows. 3. Growth should deepen your dependence on God, not your distance from Him. As the crowds grew, Jesus withdrew. Instead of allowing demand to dictate His direction, He remained rooted in communion with the Father. Kingdom builders don't let busyness replace intimacy. 4. Hidden seasons are often God's preparation for greater stewardship. When God calls you back to the basics, He isn't holding you back. He's preparing your heart to faithfully steward what He's about to place in your hands. 🌟Continue the Journey🌟 If today's conversation uncovered something in your own heart, I want to invite you to keep walking with me. 72 | Reclaiming Our Identity (Part 7): How to Build a Business Without Losing Your Peace

What if the pressure you've been carrying was never part of your assignment? In this episode, I want to invite you into a conversation the Father has been having with me. It began with one quiet question that exposed something I didn't even realize I had been carrying. Somewhere along the way, I had started measuring my faithfulness by outcomes instead of obedience. I had quietly accepted responsibilities that God never asked me to hold. As I sat with Him, He began weaving together the lives of Noah, Habakkuk, Jehoshaphat, and ultimately Jesus, showing me that faithful builders don't begin with results. They begin in relationship. If you've been building a business, writing a book, leading a ministry, raising a family, or simply trying to remain faithful to what God has placed in front of you, this conversation is for you. Together we'll explore what it means to stop chasing outcomes and start living as daughters who build from identity, trust, and daily communion with the Father. Because peace doesn't come from controlling the harvest. It comes from remembering whose garden you're tending. Key Takeaways: Why so many Christian women quietly begin carrying responsibilities God never assigned to them. The difference between building from pressure and building from relationship. What Noah, Habakkuk, Jehoshaphat, and Jesus reveal about faithful stewardship. How Morning Stillness, the watchtower, and simple Kingdom rhythms help us return to God's voice before we begin building. Why your assignment is faithfulness, while the outcome belongs to God. Scriptures Mentioned Genesis 6 Habakkuk 2:1–2 2 Chronicles 20:17 John 5:19 Continue the Journey If today's conversation uncovered something in your own heart, I want to invite you to keep walking with me. What if the thing you've been praying for isn't being withheld? What if the Father has been gently healing your ability to receive what He's already prepared? Continuing the series on Reclaiming Our Identity, in this episode, I share a deeply personal Morning Stillness encounter that completely changed the way I understood receiving. What began as a wandering thought about my framework became an invitation to ask the Lord one simple prayer: "Father, search my heart." Together we'll explore what it looks like to receive from relationship instead of striving, why Morning Stillness has become such a sacred place of discovery in my own life, and how the Father gently restores our hearts so we can receive what He's already prepared. If you've ever felt like you're waiting on God, this episode may help you discover that He has been inviting you into something much deeper all along. ❦4 Key Takeaways 1. Sometimes God isn't preparing the blessing. He's preparing our hearts to receive it. 2. Fear isn't always the root. Sometimes it's protecting a deeper wound. 3. Daughters receive differently than orphans. 4. Transformation begins with returning, not performing. ❦Stay With This This Week Before you ask God for something new... Ask Him to reveal anything that may be keeping you from receiving what He's already given. Spend a few quiet moments in His presence and simply pray: "Father, I ask for understanding, I ask that You search my heart. Show me what You want me to see. I no longer want to block what You are trying to get to me. Teach me to receive as Your daughter." Then sit with Him. Listen. What if the problem isn't actually the problem? In this episode of the Reclaiming Our Identity Series, Idina shares how God used health, finances, career challenges, and everyday life situations to reveal a deeper truth: the real battle was never the circumstance—it was identity. Through personal stories, practical stewardship, and biblical truth, you'll discover how pressure often exposes areas where we've been leaning on our own understanding instead of partnering with God. 68 | Reclaiming Our Identity (Part 3): How to Trust God With The Outcome

There are seasons when the pressure feels subtle. Not pressure from circumstances. And not pressure from people. But the quiet pressure that comes from carrying responsibilities God never asked you to carry. In this episode of the Reclaiming Our Identity Series, we're exploring what happens when the Holy Spirit gently reveals the difference between obedience and ownership. Sometimes we find ourselves carrying outcomes, managing expectations, and feeling responsible for things that belong to God. We want to help. We want to fix. We want to make sure everything works out. But underneath that pressure is often a deeper question: Have we drifted from trusting God into trying to control what only He can do? Through personal reflection, Scripture, and the leading of the Holy Spirit, this conversation uncovers how identity shifts when we stop responding as performers, fixers, or rescuers and return to our position as daughters. Because realignment isn't always about doing more. Sometimes it's about releasing more. If you've been carrying the weight of outcomes, feeling responsible for other people's growth, or exhausted from trying to hold everything together, this episode is an invitation to return to peace, trust, and the truth of who God says you are. You don't have to carry what belongs to your Father. 4 KEY TAKEAWAYS: Pressure often reveals where we've taken responsibility for something God never asked us to carry. Daughter identity trusts God's presence more than it trusts its ability to control outcomes. Realignment begins when we recognize old agreements, release them, and return to what God says is true. The reward of obedience is not control over the outcome—it's remaining aligned with God while He works beyond what we can see. 😩If you’ve been feeling stuck, inconsistent, or unsure where to start—this is your first step. 66 | Reclaiming Our Identity (Part 1): The Reason Why Many Believers Don’t Walk in Their Spiritual Authority

In this episode, we gently uncover why so many believers struggle to walk confidently in their spiritual authority — when fear, striving, insecurity, and performance-based identity have quietly shaped how they respond internally. This conversation is a slow return back to righteousness, through identity received through Christ. This first step is a kick off to a new series: Reclaiming our identity around daily life! Together, we reflect on: the hidden pressure many believers carry how fear quietly attacks identity the exhaustion that comes from striving spiritually why morning stillness became a place of realignment the difference between fighting for identity and living from it renewing the mind through truth and the Holy Spirit We walk through Ephesians 6, righteousness, spiritual authority, and the quiet ways the enemy attempts to weaken confidence through internal agreement with lies. 4 Key Takeaways Fear often attacks identity before it attacks assignment Righteousness is received before it is expressed Morning stillness creates space for realignment Renewal begins when truth becomes more familiar than fear 😩If you’ve been feeling stuck, inconsistent, or unsure where to start—this is your first step. 65 | How to Pray From Access Instead of Anxiety

There are seasons where you can love God deeply… and still feel emotionally exhausted from carrying yourself internally. Somewhere beneath the surface, pressure quietly became your way of feeling safe. In this episode, we slow down long enough to recognize what happens when prayer becomes shaped more by anxiety than from access—when life starts feeling emotionally heavy because internally, you still feel responsible for holding everything together yourself. Through honest reflection, scripture, and gentle realignment, we explore: the hidden pressure beneath overthinking and urgency why consistency feels difficult when life is built from emotional survival the difference between clarity and rooted structure and what begins shifting when daughters stop carrying themselves alone This conversation is about returning. If you’ve been feeling scattered practically while still feeling spiritually clear… if you’ve been overwhelmed by unfinished things, inconsistent rhythms, emotional pressure, or constantly trying to “fix” your life internally…this episode is an invitation to breathe again. To slow down. And to remember that peace was never supposed to come from controlling everything well enough. It comes from remaining connected to God while you walk through the process. 4 Key Takeaways: Prayer rooted in anxiety often reveals places where the heart still feels responsible for carrying life alone. Clarity from God does not automatically create rootedness—healthy rhythms and internal trust matter too. Daughter identity shifts the response from urgency and self-pressure to abiding, trust, and partnership with God. Realignment begins when you stop asking, “How do I fix everything?” and begin asking, “Who am I becoming in this moment?” 😩If you’ve been feeling stuck, inconsistent, or unsure where to start—this is your first step. 64 | Why Identity Comes First: From Striving to Living as a Daughter of God

There are seasons where you can love God deeply… and still feel internally exhausted. Beneath the surface, your relationship with God slowly became rooted more in pressure than abiding. In this episode, we’re talking about the difference between knowing you are a child of God… and actually living from the revelation of what that means. Through Isaiah 43:6-7 and Exodus 33:12-18, we explore how God establishes identity before instruction, and how many believers unknowingly approach life trying to maintain peace, closeness, and stability through performance based thinking. This conversation is an invitation to slow down and notice the deeper patterns underneath the striving: the constant self-management the fear of getting it wrong the pressure to sustain yourself spiritually the quiet exhaustion of trying to remain “good enough” And gently, through scripture and reflection, we return to the truth that daughters were never called to build life from fear. They were invited to abide. If you’ve been feeling spiritually tired, fragmented internally, or emotionally distant from rest… this episode is a reminder that realignment begins by returning to identity first. 4 KEY TAKEAWAYS: Knowing you are a child of God is different from living rooted in what belonging actually means. When identity is unclear, even sincere faith can become shaped by pressure, striving, and self-management. God establishes relationship before instruction because identity creates the foundation for peace, trust, and rootedness. Abiding is not passive—it is learning how to remain grounded in truth instead of constantly reacting from fear. 😩 If you’ve been feeling stuck, inconsistent, or unsure where to start—this is your first step. 62 | Why You Keep Repeating the Same Cycle Under Pressure (And How to Break It)

There are moments when pressure doesn’t come in loud or obvious ways…it just settles in quietly. You feel it in your body first. That subtle urgency that makes you want to move before you’ve even had time to be still. And in those moments, it’s easy to slip back into what feels familiar. To start figuring it out. To carry something that was never yours to hold in the first place. Not because you don’t trust God… but because that response has been practiced. This conversation isn’t about correcting that. It’s about noticing it. It’s about recognizing the space between pressure and response—and allowing God to meet you there, without rushing past Him. Because sometimes the shift isn’t in what you’re doing…it’s in who you’re being in that moment. 🔑4 Key Takeways The pressure you feel in a moment isn’t always about the situation—it can be revealing what you’re rooted in. Moving quickly doesn’t always mean you’re moving in alignment; sometimes it’s a return to what feels familiar. The word you’ve received is steady—but how you respond under pressure reveals whether you’ve remained with it. The shift isn’t in doing more, fixing more, or figuring more out—it’s in choosing to stay, trust, and respond from who you are now. 😩If you’ve been feeling stuck, inconsistent, or unsure where to start—this is your first step.
